E-Commerce & Project Management Course Certification Reviews
Working on nightshifts 12hours for 5/6 days without access to a PC at work. Yet I still manage to do my lab practice and submit TMAs' using my PC only when at home. This I belief is a wonderful achievement under the prevailing circumstances and I hope to continue until I reach the end.

Hello, I am a mechanical engineering graduate, but was still a complete novice in web related issues before I started this program. To say the truth, all I knew and did online was to check my Yahoo mail!!!!.
In me, I always had a deep urge to know more about IT and Web Designing in particular and I had always thought of it. So one day while watching the television I saw a Skillstrain advertisement, it really caught my attention so I did more research on it and "it was exactly what I needed". The CIW E-commerce and CompTIA Project+ program had the right mix and match of my desired modules and included Project management (a very important management tool), so I enrolled for this course.
So far it has been a very interesting course and I am very passionate about it, the tutors are very efficient and the course materials are very understandable, I am already feeling very knowledgeable in this field. My family and friends say I work on it and talk about it all the time. I even dropped my other course I registered for so I can have enough time to work on this course. I am really enjoying my course so far.
Thanks alot Skillstrain for giving me an oppourtunity to do what I really want to do.

Having realised that due to a back problem Iwould have to give up nursing, I started to look for a new career. I came across an advert for skillstrain and spoke to one of their representatives. They informed me of several choices and career paths I could take in IT. I'am presently near the end of my CIW Assosiates and E-Commerce+ Project management course, after studying at home in my own time and a relaxed enviroment. I'am pleased to say that recently I have been able to submit several TMA's in a relatively short space of time and getting results between 90-100%. I'm so pleased that I decided to take the step of changing careers and by enroling on my present course. I now know that although I wil not be able to continue nursing to health problems and chronic pain, I will be able to have a enjoyable and rewarding career in IT, which enjoy emencely. There is a futre for myself and one with good prospects thanks to skillstrain. I would advise anyone to train with skillstrain as it is a pleasant and rewarding experience leading to a satisfying future.Thanks skillstrain.

I have just recently started my course in e-commerce and project management. I have achieved good result for three of my assigment that I have done. As being an ICT assistant I have applied my skills and knowledge that I have learnt from my course to the student who are lower ability and this has improved their understanding of different aspect of ICT e.g. the overview of networks etc.
I am really greatful that I have joined skills training this has widen my job career and my knowledge in more depth.

I have just finished another live training session. I would like to thank Skillstrain as I have really enjoyed the session, I loved how we were all able to interact in the session to make it a lot more interesting.

With my limited schedule, I have achieved an exceptional results for the past four (4) weeks. I submitted 4 course work within November. I am doing this alongside with my work and writing - up of my LLM Thesis which due by December 2007. I have done extremely good, so far as my results are concerned.

I feel that despite being ill for the last 2 weeks still having to battle through my current full time job whilst being ill and also helping my Father in law pack his house up as he is moving in a couple of weeks, I still managed to find the time to continue with my course.

I am now working on assignment 11 I am proud at how far I have come. Now I am working on a website to enter that Skills Train competition. I could hardly believe that I am working on my very first website. It was not too long ago when I did not know anything about html or css, now I am confident enough to build my own, it's really amazing.

I have finished my first course book and have passed all tutor marked assignments. I have done this as well as working Monday to Friday 5am till 1pm I am very proud of my self for passing all the course so far and I havent really needed much help yet. I am very proud.

I am currently working for a website design company as a sales person which just involves acquiring new clients, but through my studies with skillstrain on the website design manager course I have been able to demonstrate a much wider knowledge of websites and the Internet and I am also getting involved with the development work. I hope on completion of the course to work solely as a website designer.

I started the course at the end of the April but I wasn't able study from the very beginning because circumstances didn't really work with me, but I was able to work hard so I can settle down and find more time for the course. Now I am able to put some extra hours to study on my lunch and evenings and most of the weekends. English is not my first language but I believe that through perseverance and hard work I am managing to keep to the schedule I have set myself. This course is something a have always wanted to do, and sometimes the work is demanding but I will achieve the result I require to move myself forward.

I have achieved a great deal in my mind, I have learned the meaning of 100+ words that before starting this course, I had absolutely no knowledge of.
I am now able to deal with many situations with my computer which I have had trouble dealing with in the past. I have a 85% pass ratio on my TMA's ( completed 2 so far) and I only started it in November. Recently my sister bought herself a PC, and because of this course I have been able to setup her computer with all the right software and will be able to help her with any troubles she May have.

Since joining Skills Train earlier this year, I have been working on a potential project in Asset Management in Africa. The size of the project is quite enormous and this is meant to put in place a management tool for the client which will enable them a more effective management of their transport fleet, storage facilities as well as administrative operations. I was terribly skeptical over being able to handle the preliminary aspects of this project given the fact that I live in the UK and I am running a training course.
However, over the past four hectic months, I have managed to juggle all these plus family demands - gorgeous wife and two ninja turtles aged 2 and 4 who strongly believe that they are BIG BOYS. I have been awarded the contract for the project for all the client's locations in the entire African continent as well as attracted venture capital funding for the project as well.

I am currently working 40 hours per week on average at my job. Alongside I am trying to write out a PhD research proposal that has to do with corporate roles in environmental destruction. I manage to keep pace with this course because I like it,and it is relevant in most fields of life. Each time I submit an assignment, I seem to have an appreciable score. Reading the notes to understand is not a problem but having time to read for, is the greatest challenge.

Studying with skilltrain has made me improve the little knowledge I had about web designing. With the course that am studying right now (e-commerce and project) I have learnt alot. I have learnt how the internet market works, how to design web sites and implement as well. I have learnt about e-commerce packages-suppose you want to run a bussiness on the internet and but you do not know where to start from and how to choose the right package please do give me a shout I will be more than happy to help. Not all people know which is the right package for running their bussinesses so much so that at the end of the day they end up spending more than what is necessary. Due to the knowledge I have learnt from skillstrain am actually thinking of running my own bussiness on the internet.
I have even learnt how the credit cards are processed and how it works to make it safe for customers on the internet. We all feel insecure, unsafe and reluctant to to use our credit cards on the internet, with me right now I feel relieved to use my credit card on the internet because I know how it works-all this I learnt from studying with skillstrain.
Currently am still doing my studies and recentry I sat for CIW e-commerce exams of which I passed. Thanks to skillstrain for the student world. The tutors are so helpful. I can't wait to finish my studies and move into IT industry and get a job of my dreams. At the moment am only a cleaner, with the help of skillstrain and the knowlede I have learnt my future has been shaped well and I know I have a new career, I can forsee my future. I am 100% positive that I will get a nice job and say "bye bye" to this cleaning job.
So much to say but all I can say is " skillstrain, you are a star babe,rock on!!!!"

Hi, I took on this course last May in hopes of being able to start a new career. I am only 20 but I have been a restaurant manager since I was 18. I have always loved computering and when I decided to start a course it was more like a hobby for me. Now I have a real ambition to succeed in this. up untill 31st of January I was a restaurant manager for bhs and I had to travel by train for an hour an half there and a hour and a half back every day. Im caring for my nan aswell after work (my brother takes care of her during the day). So I was often doing 12 hour work days then starting again when I came home. So I took the decision to change jobs so that I could be around for my nan more. Now im supervisor for costa coffee and on less money. The reason I took a demotion was because since starting this course I havent had time to complete it. Now I have an hour a day where I can study hard and acheive what I believe is my ideal career. I just want to say thank you to my student liason officer and my tutors for their support in making it possible for me to progress in my course at skilltrain college. In the first instant I found it very difficut to start the course but with the help of my tutors I am progressing especially whenever I recieve my progress report it make me belief I can do better. And this gives me the motivation that I need to move on. You are wonderful people.

I do complete all my course work successfuly and in time, the outcome of my results are attributed to my sleepless nights and willingness to read through my E-Commerce and Project Management materials. My exceptional results for 11th, 14th and 21st of March 2008 were achieved through hardwork, determination and time management skills. I studied my course work materials thoroughly and this has reflected in my marks (100% record).
I have achieved all this through my restricted schedule as I work full time as Scheme Manager and also as Priest.

Since starting this course I have learnt the "basics" of internet browsing, software, networking and email security aswell as FTP and its necessity in the I.T industry. These basics I thought I already knew, the course has taught me new things, and developed on knowledge I already had. I am now learning to use Dreamweaver CS3, learning to organise my desktop space and have learnt that keeping a a good regimental file structure is essential. To many this May not be an "achievement" as such. To me, this course was a key handed to me unlocking my new future, I have the tools, knowledge and support I need to provide myself with a new career. I am looking forward to moving on with parts B and C but realise part A is just as important, and that you have to learn to crawl before you can walk. Many thanks. Kind regards.

I am very close to finishing my course in E-commerce and Project Managment. It has not been easy at all, there were times when I just did not want to open my book to study but I'm happy that I have not given up and hope to finish very soon. Thank you SkillsTrain, without you it would not have been possible for me to learn so much about E-commerce, and the fact that it compliments my degree in business, is an added bonus.

This course has helped me more than I could ever expect.
A friend has just become the owner of a Country House Hotel.
She had a website but I helped to add new pages and gain more search engine optimism. All of which were successful. I now keep the website up to date and submit special offers on other sites where appropriate. I have also helped another friend understand some more about how her website works.
I never thought I would have all this knowledge but the more I do the more confident I get and I haven't finished studying yet which at times can be difficult with 2 young children.
