E-Commerce & Project Management Course Certification Reviews
I feel I should be considerd for this months award due to the hard work I have been putting in even though I have just had my ninth operation on my left hand so I am working one handed and the worry I have due to my daughter awaiting a heart operation which could be any time from now too August, still with all these things in my life I am still able to keep up a good standard on my work and I will be sending in Assignment 7 later this evening hoping keeping my score high. thank you for your time, Darren

Because of this course I've developed my IT knowledge and this has also help me in job as an assistant teacher. I have been an opportunity to teach the student's about Network and Multimedia computing and this has build up my confidence. I am very grateful that I started this course.

Hello everyone from Skills Train. I am pretty much happy about my achievements this month because thanks to a first school in Europe at IT I was able to learn not just about the creating a web site, but as well I learned about basic networking, to understand the way it works. There is also an other thing I was able to do this month, I was able to explain to my friends at work few things about the network and the web site design. They looked pretty shocked as they seen how much a person is able to learn in sort of a course such things as using the comp at everyday basics and avoiding many errors including loosing a connection to internet and speed up the connection in such a short time. As I was searching the other courses on the Web for web site design ,I find out, that Skills Train are teaching me things, which other courses would not. Therefore I thing, that this is a sort of an achievement as well, that I chose the best course I could imagine without knowing anything about Web site design few months ago.

Finding it hard to get to grips with the course but battling through it, Everything is new to me so finding it hard to understand even the basics as I've been working in construction for many years.
My Partner Lisa and I have just had a baby girl, which was the happiest day of my life seeing her being born, God I take my hat off to all women everywhere in the world that blesses their partner with a child.
Saffron is a lovely girl, but as all new borns take a lot of caring for, I do my fair share as I love her and really want a great bond with her so I've had many sleepless nights these last 8 weeks and what with work and my studies I've felt like a walking zombie sometimes.
Doing this course and hopefully passing it with open new doors for me, as I've mostly worked overseas these last few years.
I like to be able to stay home more with my family so all the hard work will be worth every minute studying at 2am in the morning 3 hours before the alarm goes off for work.
I've managed to submit 2 TMA so far and have not cheated myself out of an honest result, and was very happy to see the questions on the first and second TMA's because at first glance I felt I knew all the answers which was a great feeling.
Oh and in addition to Saffron, work and studying we had to move home too at the start of March, which at the time felt like rubbing salt into the wounds somewhat.......All is well at home now, and really enjoying the course. thank you Skillstrain.

I have achieve a lot in the E-commerce and Project Management course, I started the course last year May and now I can do what university student can't do; I have a friend that studies computing in university and he is in year 2 he said I should help him design a website that he does not know how to design a website with the skill gained from Skill train I was able to design the website for him. I am happy that I took that bold step to Enrol on Skill train.
The website address is http://springtimeonline.com/charity/index.html

I have been able to complete section 1 - Part A in under a month with an average pass rate of 92%. This is aswell as holding down a full-time job and looking after my 4 month old baby daughter and 2 year old son. I have also passed on my new skills to my wife but unfortunately lost her to facebook where she is fully addicted

I feel I have achieved a lot since the start of the course. I am a new mum so juggling my time can be very difficult and stressful, as I still work full time hours.
I am very proud of myself in getting so far on my course already, I thought it would take much longer with so little time on my hands. I have passed 5 TMA's without having to retake any.
I am also enjoying the course which is one thing I didn't think I would say. To successfully complete the course would mean the world to me and my family!
Thanks!

I have not long turned 20, and since I was 15 I have worked so hard and not gained any experience that compliments what I want to achieve ultimately!
Lots of friends went to college and University, me I went to work and tried making a living on something im not interested in what so ever. So I decided I am going to do something to put my interests and, what I thought I was good at to the test. I searched and I searched for something that not only said "learn Web Design" but more like "BE A Designer/Developer/Security analyst/CIW" - I didn't even know what this was until I found it! I just thought - you either know computers, or you don't!
So here I am, Still earning Minimum Wage working a 12-13 hour day, help to look after a busy household and Study in between and I don't really get a lot of time to do much...but my motivation seems to be...a dream...I know that the fun starts when the course is complete!
I have just finished the first part of my course, and even though I have a very busy workplace, I have set up a small network in the offices, organize a Back-up routine and implemented new ways of running an online filing system, I have also taught my Managing Director to organize his desktop and internet browser to his taste without changing his computing habits (unfortunately). He's also customized his desktop himself - something he seen me do and thought it looked "fun!?!".
So during my short adventure (to be continued) my achievements have been very unexpected. I started my TMA's getting 80% and above, which I didnt think was too bad, until I read my report, and from the helpful comments by the Tutor Team it allowed me to scan straight to the point of the section and in a short time educated myself in different ways of study to cater for MY needs. Now I have received TMA04 and have scored 99%, and more to the point I know WHY and HOW I got 99%. Following this, I have just submitted my last TMA for this part of the course and expect no less!
I never realised the internet was such a great resource for learning, Making that enquiry was the best thing ive ever done, and im showing myself results only 15 Weeks in!

Last month I was so sick and I wasn't able to continue my course for about a month and all the time before that I had been trying to score 100% but wasn't able to achieve that I could only get close to 95%.After I got better I focused myself on the course again and tried harder to achieve my goal and this time I was able to score 100%, which felt good. Now I try even harder to keep up with it.This course has taught me a lot about the IT, things that I was using but was not aware of it.

I feel I have improved my knowledge of the i.t world within doing my first 2 tma's. I am working very hard and committing as much time as possible to really crack on with my work., the past 2 results I have achieved on my tma has made me proud of how much I have worked. It is just so fulfilling when I receive my reports on the assignments, that it has been acknowledged by my tutor team and also shows that the team does really want you to succeed. Overall I believe I have achieved a greater understanding of what level of work is needed to really be at the top of an i.t career. It May be quite funny really as I know I'm just into the course and to gain so much is quite rare. I really put that down to my enthusiasm and willingness to work hard and harder to make a real success of my fast growing knowledge.

My partner's boss was having problems viewing the contents of a file that had been sent to him via e-mail.
He had heard that I was doing this course and phoned me to see if I could help. I talked him through changing his security settings and this enabled him to view his file. He was pleased with the help he'd received as he said he'd been struggling with it for some time.
The thing I was most pleased about was the fact that I automatically knew how to help, and was able to give that help over the phone. A few months ago I would have been just as stuck as he was!
I currently work as a nurse and have only owned a computer for 18 months, prior to this I had very little experience of using a computer and any attempts to get information from the internet had only led to frustration.
To start from such humble beginnings was a daunting task but one in which I was determined, and still am. I am often plagued with self doubt that I could ever know enough to do this for a living. So, for me, solving my partner's boss' problem was a huge achievement. It May not win any awards but it has made me believe in myself!

I just want to clap for myself on reaching so far into the course. I have stopped so many times, but would start again because I have the hope of completing this course and pursuing a career in E-commerce. I am almost on the last section of my course, and I am planning to write public exams which I know I would succeed in because of the extensive knowledge that I have gained with Skills Train. I want to say thank you to all Skills Train staff.

I started this course at the age of 53. I am teaching IT in Ethnic Minority Business services and really wanted to improve my technical skills.I started this course in April 08, have finished section 1 part B, done TMA 10 with resulting average 80 to 90%. I have achieved these results even being very busy doing my job, looking after my home responsibilities and caring my disable husband who has renal failure and needs a kidney transplant. I find the course a huge challenge, mainly because my schedule. I have to study very hard when I come from work. I spent at least one hour to study these course. I am seem to be doing the course physically alone, but in fact I've got a whole team out there who can support me at any time I need. The tutors are very helpful. I keep in touch with them even on Saturday or Sunday.
I hope to continue the course work and pass the exams, so come the end of the year I shall have my own Web design company and work from home.

I had to re-submit an assignment due to a very poor mark. I received 100% for my second effort. I have been having a bad time of late. I have discovered I have Arthritis in my right knee, hip, lower back and neck. It has been very painful and the drugs I have been prescribed don't take all the pain away, but leave me tired and unable to concentrate properly.
Im trying very hard, I spend up to 12 hours a day working on my course, I really enjoy it, its fun to learn. Its giving me something to work towards. I know I will never work a "normal" day job, sometimes I can't even get about the house. But learning web design will give me a way to earn a decent living from the comfort of my own home, and the hours I choose.

It is really wonderful for me to study here, in the first place I was thinking of build up my profile but when I went on holiday I now discovered that the course am doing with Skill Train is well demanding in the whole word.
Thanks to my Student adviser and my tutor for their support , I really appreciate their effort.
Thank you all.

I am studying for the CIW Website Design Manager and I never thought I would get marked my assignments within 90-100%. You should know that english is not my first language, so I'm really a little bit proud of myself and I definitely will continue my good work.
Thank you very much.
Cheers

Even I have marriage problems I continue doing my course and as far as I know I am doing well

I have three children studying in Dudley. They seem to perplex me with the sudden mastery of the computer and internet usage they have all developed after only one year schooling in the UK. I have to call on them, even the youngest one who is primary school to show me how to go about so many things on the computer and the World Wide Web. Obviously, they know their father is intelligent, so they will sometimes mock at me for not understanding this or that on the computer or net and always asking them for support.
In the two weeks since I registered for this course, I have spent on average of about three hours studying my lessons or practising the lab sessions and practical exercises while they are at school, since I do not yet work on most days. Since about a week today, they are amazed with the sudden turn around on my knowledge of the computer, the hard and software's, the web and even my efforts to assist them in their own work on the net.
In brief, the experience is amazing. I have been working on the computer and the www for a number of years without formal foundations. My situation two weeks ago could actually be compared to that of an untrained blind man crossing a fast and heavy traffic dual carriage way without a guide. He hears the sound of traffic, but cannot decipher the direction, intensity of traffic or the speed at which the vehicles run through the lanes. This course is exactly like treatment for the blind man's old age blindness. I begin to see and understand how the modern communication technology works.
My hope is that I uphold the enthusiasm and continue to find the time and resources to enable me afford a complete cure of this age old computer and technological deficiency.
My thought is that, it is never too late to learn ICT and would encourage anyone who has the slightest possibility for find the opportunity to invest in studying it, be it for any reason. I begin to feel fulfilled, even though I am only at the beginning of the course.
More encouragement to my course adviser, tutor, and the administrative team.

I have finished the program in less than 1 year. My results are over 75% for all the papers.
