Network Engineer (N+) Course Certification Reviews
I fell behind with my coursework last month due to me losing my job and I was upset and stressed out. But now I am back on track with my coursework and catching up very quickly. I have also taught four new people about how to use a computer and how a computer works so I am very proud of myself and I'm glad I can help people learn a new skill that will come in very handy for everyday jobs.

I started my course in January 2007 and was eager to get learning, so I started tma01 of my comptia a+ certification. I have been under great pressure whilst doing my course as my partner was diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo surgery. I have been looking after my partner and our 3 year old daughters needs and have still managed to stay focused and complete my assignments within my goal times. I am now studying tma05 and have received 90% pass rates on my previous assignments. I believe that I have made a great achievement whilst under great pressure and worry and I will continue to study so I can oneday have the dream job I always wanted.

Since doing this course I have greatly improved my knowledge and understanding of the course as I am progressing further through it. Also managed to help a few people with problems on their computer, and also installing a few things into a desktop pc which consists of; RAM, Hard-Drive / DVD-RW Combi and a few upgrade so other O/S. I've noticed a significant change in percentage of the results I've recieved back for the assignments.

I studied for and passed my Comptia A+ last year. It took me a couple of months longer than I would have liked, probably because, at 50 years old, I was very much out of practice at studying. After all, I had been left full time education for 32 years! However, I feel I am getting better, and I persevere more. I am studying the Network + course and feel I am coping pretty well despite the extra pressures of knowing that I am going to be made redundant from the job I have had for the last 28 years. I expect to do the N+ exam in May (maybe sooner!) and then it is onto the CCNA course. I can't wait.

I am doing the TMA s as fast as they are being marked at the moment.and my scores are pretty good.not bad for a man who works 60 hours a week as a nurse plus got 2 kids and a girlfriend to contend with.I am really enjoying the course and a new pc or some vouchers would really make my day
-Maurice
Managing to return to my course (and get 100% on first assignment back), despite my marriage breaking up and me being left with two kids

Working on the Microsoft Certified Cisco Engineering course (MCCE) and I am now working on the CompTIA Network+ Certification Windows Server 2003 (NetMaster) and also working on PC Hardware and Maintenance - Essentials (CompTIA+ Certification which is the 2006 Objectives and I am enjoying this course alot because I always wanted to work in the IT field. Did it in the US Navy as a communicator in which my qualifications will help me out for the future and I will keep up with the course. I can't wait to get my Certification.

My achievements are that I have now been able to find the time do consentrate on my course while working in a full time job ,,, planning the soon coming wedding,, and be able to achieve ,, what I consider good grades I find my self now waiting for the next code so I can submit my next exam,, always seem to be working ahead now.

I have been doing this course since last September and have achieved very high scores with my assignments. Uptil now I would not have even attempted to open up my computer case. Last year my old pc packed up and I had an engineer over to see what was happening, after I found out that the motherboard needed to be replaced I decided not to go ahead with the repair but repair it myself when I have the skills needed to do this myself. This will have given my valuable experience and also saved me a fortune in repair bills. I feel I have the confidence to do this and learning from my manual has helped

Due to work committments I have now Completed Aplus part 8 to progress to the next section

I am 46 years old and pursuing a Computer Networking course leading to CCNA qualification on correspondence basis. Currently I am employed as a Warehouse Operative. As you know it is not easy to study and work while fulfilling other family responsibilities. However I am glad that I have managed to complete the A+ bit and now pursuing the Network + before eventually studying for the Cisco networking system.
I wish to advise those who are aspiring to pursue any course that age is not a barrier in achieving their dream career. Simply find whatever limited time you have to read and with time and perseverance it eventually gets into your system and becomes easy. Let your family, relatives and friends know you are reading, they will give you time and support you need to achieve your goals. I look forward to changing my career to computing with a view to becoming an IT Systems Network Administrator. I wish to thank all the staff members at the College for their continued support advice. Thank you.

I HAVE ACHIEVED A GOOD AVERAGE ON MY FIRST PART OF PC HARDWARE AND MAINTENCE BEARLY DROPING BELOW 90 AND NEVER TAKING A TMA TWICE WHICH IS GOOD IN IT SELF AS I HOLD DOWN A 50 HOUR WEEK JOB AND I HAVE TO TRAVEL 20 HOURS AS WELL SO I HAVE TO BE UP A 5.30 TO BE AT WORK 4 7.30 AND THEN I DONT GET HOME TELL 6.30 - 7.00 ON THE NIGHT SO THE TIME I HAVE IS VERY LITTLE TO READ UP AND SUBMIT TMA'S FOR THE COURSE BUT I HAVE MANGED AND I THINK I HAVE DONE VERY WELL AT THIS AND I FELL ITS AND A ACHIEVEMNET FOR ME EVEN IF NO ONE ELSE DOES
-Philip
I have been studying quite hard to get 100 percent in each of my TMA but the closest I had earlier got was 98 percent. I was determined in my most recent submitted assignment and I got 100 percent for the first time!
I am now resolved to work harder to consistently to maintain this exceptional result in the consequent assignments and examinations as I know it is always possible.
I realize that the secret of this achievement has to do with consistent sense of determination and dedication.

Since passing the A+ I have gained a position within an IT department as first line support. My acheivments and skills within this position has been increased over the past month with the aid of the N+, it has given me a better understanding and wider knowledge base to aid users. I have recently been given a raise and this can be acredited to the hard work and extra research I have been completing around the current course material. Over the last few weeks I have taken on some extra work helping people with common PC problems (clearing viruses, connecting home Wire less networks, etc)

I have been married for 19 years with 3 children, which is a big achievement in itself. Apart from looking after the family and the home I run my own business which takes up a lot of my time. I take my son to football twice a week and visit my daughter on a regular basis who is at music colledge in coventry. I like to help out at my local church. I still find time to do my course because I love working with computers and I enjoy learning new things. I have just started teaching my mother how to use a computer, she is 68 years old. I do like a good chalenge. she has not got a computer yet but she can have mine if I win this one. things get busy but I have a good wife and kids who support me which makes all the difference.thankyou ,Paul

Over the last month I have been achieving very good marks in my TMA's, so much so that I had the confidence to go into my local computer shop and ask if he would take me on in my time of work.(I work 3 weeks on, 3 week off in the offshore industry as a chef) To assist him in fixing, maintaining and upgrading customers systems. After hearing about my grades and the knowledge I have gained from doing my A+ course, Bob the owner was very happy to take me on.
