Network Engineer (N+) Course Certification Reviews
Studying the course material has helped me gain more knowledge in using a computer and I recognise that because before when I had computer problems, like why the computer was slowing down and things. I just used the course material to help me deal with the problem and now I don't need much help if I have problems with my computer. I.E. my computer crashed, slowing down ETC. I believe that studying the course material has helped alot and I am proud of my self for choosing this training college and career.

Passed my A+ OS and Core hardware exams.I was going to give it all up after the death of my mother but tried hard to get my mind back on track and finish the course.I am now pleased I did stay with it .I am now back to my usual routine and have started my Network course.

In my last two examinations I have acheived 90% or over I'm confident I will acheive the same in my next exam. I'm really enjoying the course,I never new anything about computers before I started this course.I wish I had started it sooner, as I have many goals I wish to acheive from this course.I realise I am proberley not progressing as fast as other students this might be because I have a full time job as a printer and a two year old son.I also have another baby girl on the way, this makes studying hard as I don't get as much time as I would like to get through my course but I am trying my hardest because this is something I really want to do.

My achievements this month include improving my knowledge of IT beyond my expectation and also being able to introduce SKILLSTRAIN

Enrolling in the course of N+ and CCNA was one of the best things I have done for myself. I didn't even know about Cisco before and now I am glad I took this course.
I know now that there is a lot more to the IT field in Engineering than just the user friendly GUI / user friendly interfaces.
I thought that doing studies on your own time would be easy and just work around your own schedule but that is not always especially when it comes to things you have to memorise when you don't have the physical device in front of you to work on.
I made great results and feel really proud of myself with keeping up with my coursework trying to make it one of my main priorities. Recently I came to the UK on a student visa doing full-time studies at London-college MCSE and SQL plus now I have to Scheidegger courses and to make things more difficult I can only do part time work trying to pay my rent and food. There is not alot of time for studies since I am working in lots of different locations where I get work in the last 4 weeks I worked in London , Basingstoke and now in Scotland where I have to go back in 2 weeks to continue my courses in London.
I have to use public computers or go to friends houses to get Internet access to do my course work. Sometimes it can be a wait to get access to a PC cause of timing, library closed or friends away or asleep since it is late at night. Also there is not alot of sociable time to go out or catch a movie with friends.
Still with all the hard time I'm having I am still maintaining my intense pace of studies trying to get one chapter done a day and revision of four chapters every Friday. I never take a day off from studies and don't stop even when I am done submitting my assignments; I just keep going and going waiting for my results to submit my next TMA. My goals is high, to be one of the best and make sure I know my work.

Whilst working in hard and arduous conditions in Afghanistan, I have managed to successfully complete my CompTia N+ syllabus and begin the first part of my CCNA course. With poor living conditions, which include constant power failures resulting in limited internet connectivity I have perservered and achieved, what I believe to be good TMA results. In addition with the new skills I have learnt, I seem to be the point of contact amongst my fellow colleagues when internet connectivity becomes an issue, and I have managed to resolve many issues for them, as the internet is the only real link with friends and family back home in the UK.

Since I have started the course I have acheived results beyond what I thought I could. I restarted the course when I sent for the undated version which I find is more in depth and the troubleshouting section is a great help.my TMA scores have ranged from 87% - 100%.All this studying is undertaken while holding down a perminent nightshift job and visiting my children at weekends.since the studying I have been able to help friends family with a variety of pc problems with either hardware or sorfware which I am improving all the time.Hopefully when I have completed some more coursework I will apply for partime jobs to get more experience in this field of further employment

I FEEL THAT EVEN WITH MY ILL HEALTH I AM PROGRESSING AT A RATE THAT SUITS ME , ALSO THAT I AM SUPPRISING MYSELF WITH THE RESULTS THAT I HAVE BEEN GETTING , MY FREINDS AND NEIGHBOURS ARE NOW ASKING ME TO HAVE A LOOK AT THEIR COMPUTORS FOR THEM, WHICH I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIX AND INSTALL NEW HARDWARE FOR THEM , WHICH FILLS ME WITH GREAT SATISFACTION

I GOT 100 % IN MY FIRST TMA , I FEEL THAT THIS WAS A MASSIVE ACHIEVMENT FOR ME AND AM REALLY PROUD OF MY SELF, I HAVE AN EXTREAMLY BUSY LIFE STYLE WITH A DEMANDING LABOURIOUS JOB, I HAVE ALL OF THE STRESS OF BEING A YOUNG MAN WITH A BABY ON THE WAY, ALL WHILST IN THE PROCESS OF MOVING HOUSE OVER 150 MILES ACCROSS THE COUNTRY FROM IPSWICH TO LEICESTER AND TRYING TO KEEP UP AT LEAST A TINY LITTLE BIT OF A SOCIAL LIFE I MANAGED TO TAKE ON A NEW SUBJECT AND ADAPT BACK INTO THE RITIUALS OF STUDY TO LEARN ENOUGH OF THE COURSE MATIERIAL IN A SHORT SPACE OF TIME AND ACHIEVE (I SAY AGAIN) 100% IN MY FIRST TMA, ANY WAY I DON'T MEAN TO BRAG OR ANYTHING IT'S JUST WELL IM PROUD OF MYSELF AND AIM TO KEEP UP THE STANDARD OF HIGH MARKS THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE COURSE AND FEEL THAT WINNING STUDENT OF THE MONTH OR MAYBEE JUST COMING SOMWHERE NEAR MIGHT GIVE ME THE INCENTIVE TO DO SO THANKS ALL MY LOVE MATXXXXX

Comitting to the new 2006+ course after a flimsy start to the original A+ course 6 months ago. Genuine 100% record so far (not cheating) and keeping up to date every day in between working 40 hours a week.
-Mark
Although I started this course 12 months ago I have had to cope with my partner being diagnosed with cancer and bringing up 3 children and keeping my current job on the go. I have just started the course again now and was very pleased with my result for TMA1 on the new 2006 course. I didn't think I could do as well as I did and hope to achieve similar reults for future TMA's.

I started this course work way back in November 2005, and I my motivation declined increasingly for the next year. However, in December of 2006, with my wife almost at full term with our first child, I decided that if I was ever going to finish my course, I should do so immediately, as I would need a career that would help me in supporting not only myself, but my soon to be family. Since then I haven't looked back and have been religiously studying and submitting my TMA's. I even started over from scratch as the coursework had been updated, (thankfully!) to include pertinent information on computer networking in today's workplace. I have received 100% marks on almost all of my TMA's and I plan to finish my coursework before the end of the summer. It's amazing how much inspiration your own child can bring to oneself, and I am the more determined than ever now, thanks to my family!
-Mark
I feel my biggest achievement was taking the decision to enroll on the course. At the age of 53 the prospect of changing careers was daunting. After listening to your representative and finally deciding that you are never to old to learn I believe that I have made one of the most important decisions of my life.
Although computer literate I would say that I am far from being an expert, however after analyzing your teaching methods I am more than confident that I can complete the course and change to a complete new career.
I feel that achieving 100% marks in both the foundation and TMA01 was more than I expected when taking on the course.

I was having very busy time at work cause I work in Supermarket and Easter is coming out but I still tried to study. Other thing is that I know a lot of things written. I gained this knoledge by experence now I can see it from other site filled with more details. My goal is to take this exam in June and rock it. Not tooo much time but pressure is giving me extra motivation.

As a foreiner I have achieved a lot from starting new words which helps me to express myself, finishing a knowledge about the computers. Before I started studying I was a little scared, about the language diference, because english is not my origin language but now I am more and more confident in myself and really looking forward to learning. I tell my friends that to start learning is not a nightmare its an oportunity and we can do this.
-Tomas
I WAS FINDING IT HARD TO UNDERSTAND PARTS OF TMA 02 AND I KEPT ON GOING OVER AND OVER THE SAME PART OF THE UNIT UNTILL I OCULD REMEMBER IT WHEN I WASN'T STUDYING. I PASSED THE TMA 02. I PUT A LOT OF TIME INTO UNDERSTANDING THE BITS I WAS HAVING TROUBLE WITH.
MANY THANKS
-Stephen
I have got a disabled wife and two kids, when I get then all sorted out I get down to study this course very hard for about 4-5 hours a day and read as much about A+ as I can, my family and I think I am achieveing a long for a man who has not studied for 19 years since leaving school, it took a few day to get in to it now it all good and great
-Paul
I have managed to achieve 100% percent on 2 of my assignments and 97% on the last one that I submitted. I have also been ready to submit my next assignment as soon as the results from the last one arrives through the post. I have acheived all of this even though I was ill for a week with migraines.
I also have a friend coming over this week with some new parts for my computer to upgrade the memory and graphics card and I will be installing them myself under his guidance.
-Caroline
When I started my course 2 weeks ago I was out of work and could spend most of my day studying. Now I am in full time employment (which is to help me fund my course and exams) and having 2 young children to look after I have had to cut down on my study hours but have still gained 100% in my first TMA which I am very proud of!
-Joanne
I have been gaining success and continuosly scorring well over the pass rate in all mt TMA's. I beleive I am gaining knowledge rapidly about a computer and how it works which is helping me with alot of things, because before I didnt even know things like input devices are known as pheriphals in IT terms. befoe I didnt know what kind of computer I have know I know as I have learnt from all the course material provided.

As a sufferer of "Depressive Psychosis" I find it very difficult to concentrate on learning. With thoughts of harming myself and others going through my head, I can get very distracted. It is, therefore, very impressive that I am maintaining an average of one work unit completed per week, with no scores below 90% so far. Most of my assignments have yielded 100% top marks, and my median average is also 100%, which I am very proud to have acheived.
