Network Engineer (N+) Course Certification Reviews
After keeping my job, I am ready to start learning again.
Which I shall hopefully be able to do over the next few months as I am off.

I am now onto section 1 part B of my course and my TMA results are getting more consistent all the time.I am improving my skills, the challenge is to keep up my good results.I have been scoring well in my results and I have not had a pass mark less than 80% which I consider a very good achievement.

Since I started this course last year itis been tough because I work long hours as a stone mason driving to and from Brighton, Dover ect.. My first part A results where really not up to my standard to me. I have since make a big life change I have given up my weekends as study during the week proved to be of no use as my results show in part A. Now as u can see by my results I have achieved in Part B this is paying off for me in reflection to this I feel this shows just how much this course means to me and how hard I am working to get where I want in life.

I HAVE ACHIEVED SCORES ABOVE 90% IN MOST OF MY TMA ASSIGNMENTS AND MANAGED TO UNDERSTAND THE COMPUTER THEORY AS WELL AS PRACTICAL BY PUTTING UP A NEW COMPUTER FROM OLD SCRAP PARTS.

FOR THE LAST TWO TMA'S I HAVE 100 AND 98%,COMPARED TO AN AVERAGE OF
APP:70%, AS NOW I AM ONLY WORKING PART TIME IT HAS GIVEN MORE TIME TO STUDY, WHICH PROVES IT CAN BE DONE!!

Since Christmas I have studied really hard and I think I have achieved some great results from my assignments. With me being a childminders I sometimes find it hard to study due to the amount of paperwork that I have to do.

HI, MY NAME IS ADRIAN, I'M 30 YEARS OLD AND I'M FROM ROMANIA. I CAME IN ENGLAND 6 YEARS AGO AND I WAS WORKING ON SITES AS DRY LINER FIXER. BEFORE TO CAME IN ENGLAND I WAS WORKING 3 YEARS IN ITALY AND 2 YEARS IN HUNGARY. IN ITALY AND HUNGARY I WAS WORKING IN CONSTRUCTION AS WELL AND IS A VERY HARD JOB. 4 YEARS AGO I DISCOVERED THE COMPUTER, A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE ,AND I LOVE TO WORK ON IT. THIS IS ONE REASON FOR WHAT I WILL LIKE TO CHANGE MY JOB AFTER I FINISH THIS SCHOOL. IS VERY HARD TO WORK 10 HOURS A DAY AND LEARNING AT THE SAME TIME ,BUT KNOWING CUZ AFTER THIS SCHOOL I CAN CHANGE MY JOB AND MAYBE MY LIFE , THIS THINK IS GIVE ME POWER TO NOT STOP ,TO GO FORWARD TO FINISH THIS SCHOOL. SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH.THX

I have been working 12 hour days but have strived to complete my course with any spare time I might have. This has meant studying late on Sundays, my only day off. Using my knowledge gained thought this course I managed to repair a family members pc that was not working. The computer was very important for there business so they were very happy and now contact me with any problems. Now I realise that my career could take off in IT and has made me more determined to finish the course and gain my first qualification.

Studying with skills train has totally changed my outlook on my career, I was previously working as an engineering technician basically testing IT equipment for 3 and a 1/2 years before deciding that a change was needed.
I left my job in September 2008 which was a major risk in itself due to the impending recession and other factors and decided that I was going to get qualified to help progress my career further.
I got in touch with skills train and signed up for 2 courses A+ and N+ as I felt these would suit my needs most. After leaving my job I did temporary work here and there whilst lookin for a field engineering job. Due to the fact of me having to work all kinds of different hours I found it hard to settle down and study, this was shown by the fact I only completed 5 TMAs in 4 months.
After applying for numerous jobs I finally received an offer from a computer company to work as an engineer starting on the 5th January, since then I have been working hard to settle down due to the fact I had some stability and not much to worry about and have since completed another 6 TMAs in the month of February and have completed the 1st section on my course.
Due to the skills I have learnt it has taken me a matter of only 2 months to be sent out on field calls for the company and have also taken over the duties of looking after the IT equipment of a company who is contracted to us. I have made progress a lot quicker than expected and I thank skills train for that.

I am a single Dad and looks after my 4 years son and working part- time as well. I still manage to fit in my studies with work and family life. I hope to successfully complete my course.

I HAVE SUBMITTED TWO TUTOR MARKED ASSIGNMENT IN LAST THREE WEEKS, I HAVE PASSED MY FIRST ONE WITH 80%MARKS AND HOPE FOR THE SECOND AS WELL BETTER THAN THE LAST ONE. AND I WILL SHOW MY POTENTIAL IN THE FUTURE AS WELL, AND WILL TRY TO FINISH MY COURSE AS EARLY AS I CAN.

While doing my N+ I applied for a job in Vodafone and I got it and its all because of my N+ studies and now I am ready to give exam as well

I have studied with skillstrain for the last 6 years and first enroled on the PC installation & maintenance course where I gained Comptia A+ and N+ as well as City & Guilds and ACP certifications.
I enroled with the college again in September 2005 for the CCNA/CCNP course and in August 2006 I gained my CCNA certification.
In February 2007 I started a new career as a Cisco Network Engineer with a satellite communications provider where my working life has been transformed. I have kept up the studying and I have steadily been working through the CCNP course. Today I passed the CCNP ONT exam which now means I have gained CCNP certification. To say I am over the moon is an understatement.
The company I work for are expanding very quickly and are now one of the major players in the satellite communication industry. I now earn far more than I did before and receive double digit pay rises. I am going to the US next month to install a new network which will substantially increase our standing in the industry. I have even been to Monaco rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous and staying in 5 star hotels and all part of the job.
I could not have imagined all this 6 years ago and it goes to show that hard work can and does pay off.
Thanks to all at Skillstrain who have helped me over the years to really turn things around.

I signed up for N+,ccna,ccnp courses which in its own is a great achievement for me as it gives me a positive look on the future and also it gives me a great opportunity to learn new things and challenge myself. I have completed the first 2 tutor marked assignments so far and achieved a 90% on part A. I have already learned that research is of great importance to my study and have purchased numerous books to help me achieve my goals. This is something that is new to me but I have enjoyed every moment of it and I will strive to maintain this level of commitment to the courses throughout my studies. I have achieved all this amongst my busy work schedule which I also have to keep to an excellent standard.

After unsuccessful applying for an IT job because of my missing British degree at the time, I came to the Scotland and started looking for a new job, I found advert on in local newspaper offering IT training. I decided to take a course and started studying. I was very slow from the beginning because everything here was new for me and I was also supposed to manage some job and place for staying. By the time, I found permanent job in very busy environment with many overtimes which finally made me very tired and completely unable to study but I needed money for covering my fees, therefore, I had to keep the job. Under some strange circumstances the company I worked for over 3 years was closed down on 23rd December 2008 at the time, I was on x-mass holiday at home. I did not know anything until came back. Our department was always extremely busy and I had no idea how badly was company running. As a result, I finally decided to finish my course and use the time when I'm unemployed for studying. Even I have lot's of time now I also have fear from the near future. Having no income only claimed benefits, I have only hope to get a new job after finish the course. That's why I'm trying to study as hard and fast as I can.

I did four assignments (90%, 100%, 100%, 100%) in February. I just started studying. I am working at the same time in the kitchen, but I am very interesting in networking.

At the moment I am working under pressure, but I am start trying study as much as possible! Hopefully, that will continue for long time! :-)
