Well,as a person who have just been in the course for 3 months can not say much yet .Rather, maybe my systematical way of doing it can be a step to achievemet as well as the personal interest in the course and the will to continue it.It is always easier when you like it.So for the time being keep on doing it and that is ok.I can say that definetely I am getting a more familiar with the 'Internet technology' than before.Thanks.

I have been able to learn great skills in web design, development, planning and management through my course with Skill Train.
I have also kept / met my target of complete my TMA every week, not just that I completed the TMA every week; I completed them with excellent results.

Between 2 months (even in my very busy schedules) of enrolling for my course I have been able to complete successful Section 1 - Part and I am almost done with Section 1 - Part B.

I have really learnt a whole lot during these courses and the Lab are just wonderful.
I have been able to put to practical use all the ideas and lessons I have learnt so far.

It's a privilege to be a part of Skills Train - There can never be a better option.

I joined Skillstrain during December 2006, I have managed to work through my first course book (CIW Website Design Manager - Section 1 Part A) and have got pass marks on all the assignments. This has been hard for me as my wife is ill at present and I have had to help raise 5 children while studying as well as helping my wife in her studies and working part time. It has been difficult to snatch study time but I have achieved this after bedtimes despite the need to wake up at 5:30am to get to work.

I started my CIW course about 14 months ago, I have never done any sort of programming before so I found it quite difficult to start with, after about 4 months my 31 year old brother was diagnosed with Leaukemia. This put a stop to my studying for about 5 month as he passed away 3 months after being diagnosed. However he did say to me that what I needed to do was get my head round it, pass the course and get a better paid job which I would enjoy a lot more than what I do now. Once I had come to terms a little with what had happened, I started back on my course. I am now just about to complete Part 2 where I believe I will then get my revision questions to see exactly how much I've taken in. So the only thing I need to do now is do what he asked and complete the course and make him proud.

I start my course in August and I found it very interesting to learn website designing in English language. From the beggining I finish all TMA with minimum result of 82% and 5 times with 100% and I'm proud with my work! :)
I even design a website for my friend's shop. I use a lot of information that learnt in this course. I made whole website in XHTML 1.1 Strict and it pass validation! I look forward to finish course as soon as possible with the highest results and I will design professional websites.
Thank you Skills Train

In my first two assignments I got a 90% mark and a 95% mark, in my third assignment I got a 59% mark, mainly due to me suffering from angina and spending some time in hospital but hopefully with my hard work and effort my mark will be alot higher on my re-submission. Also, at any moment now my daughter is due to give birth to my first grandchild! In conclusion, through heart problems, job loss problems and supporting my daughter in her first child birth, I am still committed to completing my course to a very high standard.

Looking back at my progress I notice that my results have been varied but for the last seven TMAs I have consistently achieved 100%. I am very pleased and encouraged by this as I have never managed this in any other course I have taken. Also taking into consideration that I have now reached the Server Administration part of the course, and I have no previous understanding of servers, I am really excited about these recent results

I Believe that I have had the ability to work well quickly and under pressure to meet my deadlines and still take in all the information, this is proven by me completing the first part of my cousre in 8 days and passing all the tutor marked assignments first time with good pass scores. Also there is information in this cousre that I know but the information that I don't know I believe that I am taking in and using it effectively an example of this is using the html for the first time.

During the Christmas period my studying took a bit of a back seat due to my increased working hours. Throughout January and February I have been studying hard once again and am now back on track and achieving high marks in my tutor marked assignments. It was difficult getting back into it, but I am now on section 4 of my course which I am thouroughly enjoying and hope to finish within the next few weeks. My motivation comes from my desire for a new career and I'd like to thank all at Student World for helping make this possible.

During my training, I have also been constructing my own website...It went online officially using UKReg and Fasthosts. The website functioned superbly well and all links and and code were fully validated at W3C.

Also, in the actual course work, I have been working at a stready pace so that all the knowledge becomes easy to remember. I am currently on Lesson 10 in file number 2. Even though I have completed the Lessons 1 - 9, I am always going back and reading through all my notes, along with my coding notes for each lesson. I print off all my coding for each website I practice, and also the coding for the course websites. My coding practice goes in a section at the back of each file so they are easy to find and revise. I want to study carefully so have done a timetable so that I revise for one hour in the morning and study another lesson for one hour in the afternoon.

I have achieved many things since starting this course, I am very pleased that I have done well in areas such as:

creating listings(bullets or numbers)
created basic tables for order forms, descriptions and basic layouts
of areas of websites.
My online webpage including news, linked images, linked email address,
tables, basic forms, my own logos from Photo House Magic, headings, lists.

I think I am achieving a lot in the 5 or so months I have been studying. I am working hard to achieve this qualification and doing steady studying is a good way of doing this so I am becoming more knowledge and confident in the subject without rushing through it.

I have completed chapters 1 and 2 now - with what I think are very good pass marks, having started the course with extremely limited knowledge in IT. I have found the course interesting but challenging, though I know with determination and perserverance I will do it!! It hasn't been easy with a family and young child, as well as starting a new job - but when I think about what I have learnt and now understand, in such a short time - it motivates and encourages me!! My next achievement (as you have suggested on this site), will be to create and follow a realistic study schedule - which I know will ensure I use my time more efficiently and productively! This course is a new opportunity for me and with the support available to me - can be a reality!! Thank you!!

The past month has actualy been so hectic . I have first off showed my computer illiterate sister how to actualy use her computer an set up a new email addy for there small home based buisness. and recently ive started work on a full website for a joinery company based in paisley which includes the whole layout an all the graphics to do with the website aswell and im really pleased ( as are they ) about the way its progressed an will progress because I keep them in the loop everyday so they know exactly whats going on which I feel builds up a better relationship that way. and started designing posters for a local event for people I went to collage with last year. so ive been quite proud of myself . ive not sent a rocket to the moon . or climbed everest but ive started doing more than I thought, I mean I couldnt have imagined me making an entire website this time last month . so this is my personal acheivement. thanx for your time.

Being able to do the E-Commerce and Project management course is a hard strain, as im currently looking after our 18 month old daughter, however, I still manage to get about 2-3 study in a day. I can't believe I have learnt so much already and I have just completed Section A of foundation. I thought my understanding about computers pretty good but I didn't really understand before why they needed to be done or how it was achieved.
I have over the moon with my achievements thus far and obtaining extremely good results in assignments. I scored 93% in my last assignment
