The Internet Training session on Security was marvellous. Permit me to say that the session is becoming more exciting and comprehensive time after time. Security is a very sensitive issue in any organisation. The session has undisputably cleared some of the lapses and shallow understanding I had relating to the subject under discussion. Thanks for your time and untiring efforts in making our studies very comfortable and unique. All the Best in your endeavours.

I attended this session and it has helped me understand this subject a lot better, I wrote down notes but found it hard to take it all in at the same time. Although, I can always playback this session in my own time and go at my own pace. I find Live Internet Training an excellent source to help me with my course. I shall be attending more sessions in the near future. Thank you

This was my first time, and bit advanced for me, because I'm doing my ciw website design manager (ver 5 section 1 part a) and I haven't read tcp/ip in that much detail yet, but from my previous knowledge I already knew but not in that much deatail. I attended the session just to get familiar with the stuff and it went really fine, I gave answers to the questions and they all went correct except for 1. That was a great experience and I enjoyed it a lot. I hope that the knowledge I get today will benefit me in future.
Thank you.

This was the first live internet class I have attended. I absloutely enjoyed this class and thought the whole "Live" aspect was brilliant. I could contact the tutor if I needed to and loved having to answer questions within the session. Overall I thought the Live Internet Training sessions are essential to have.

It has been amazing how quick I have progressed in my course work. My tutor team have been very helpful as they are a call away. I have just submitted my TMA5 and am looking forward for my next phase of assignments.

Over the last few feeks I have several misfortunes in life, first of all my laptop broke, and it took a while to fix. Then my partner had to have extra hospital apointments as it was thought her cancer was growing.
Due to these misfortunes it has lead me to not be able to get through as much work as I usually do, although skillstrain has been very understanding and helpful, and I believe if I was doing this course in a college or university, they wouldn't have been as understanding and I wouldn't have been able to take the time out that I needed. I just hope now I can back on track and get this course finished so I can put the excellent training into practice.

I've only worked on my first few chapters of my Webmasters Course for about two weeks. I completed my first assignment, sent it off, and was very pleased to get 95%! I hope I can keep my marks at this level throughout this course (or near enough).

Over the last two years,I completed my basic computer skills, I barely knew anything about computers. Next I began my Word Processing, City and Guilds. I am pleased to say, I got a Distinction. I was suprised to say to say the least! Meanwhile I was completing an Art Diploma, at the UCE. I passed that as well.

I am doing this course because I need a new start in life. I can combine both my art and computer skills, and hopefully find work.

I am more suprised than anybody about what I have achieved, and hope that I can carry on in the same vein.

Last month I have created a website for a local company in cheshire and they paid me a great sum of £600 for doing it. I have also created a website for a valet parking company. I couldn't have done this without your help on the website design course and I havent even finished the course yet!

With my background as a PR practitioner, with just basic knowlegde of been computer literate i.e open, view, type and close a computer, I doubted my ability to cope.

When I was been signed by the course advisor, I asked her if she thinks I can do this, first finance wise, 'cause am presently unemployed-been supported by my wife. Second, lack of previous knowledge in IT could prolong my learning. She assured me that with dedication and determination, I should be able to cope.

Though I am not a dulard, but IT and Website Designing is a diferent ball game entirely.

So far, I have enjoyed every bit of it.

I like reading ahead. Which is what I did continuing to section2 while waiting for my first TMA result. The more I read, the more I find it easy and say ' oh! so this is the secrete and the way it is done'.

Now I know better.

I owe my success to the easy to read and understand books and packages, which is my guide and now with the introduction of 'Student World', I will be able to gain further from other students idea and get support from my tutor team.

Skills Train is making my dream come true.

I say well done to the Tutor Team, please dont be tired of our queries, a student will always be a student no matter how OLD.

Thank you SKILLSTRAIN.

I wish to say the SkillsTrain got all it takes to bridge the gap from an amateur to a promising professional in any endeavours relating to IT professionalism. This is not just a promotion but I will say it is fact a based on the Knowledge, Improvements, and inherent money cannot buy Skills I have acquired since I started my training in the ten months ago on Web Design.

Presently, I am in Section 3 Part B ( Server Administration) of my training. The patterns of assessment is extraordinary. The interactive training CD is the first of its kind, I have ever used in the course of any distant learning program. Everything on it is remarkably faultless and fantastic. You guys are magicians for incorporating this idea and methodology into our training. I take pride in going through the lectures in the CD times without number as well as assessing my skills in both the Pre and Post Assessment. Sincerely speaking, I am absolutely bewildered and elated in my scores. This I believe clearly demonstrates my understanding of the subject(s) and I just cannot wait to learn more from SkillsTrain

I adore the way you guys commit yourselves in giving us the best and most prestigious training in Information Technology.

Remain Bless and Do always lead and set the pace in IT training.

I would start by congratulating SKILLS TRAIN for giving us the opportunity to improve our lives. SKILLS TRAIN has made a remarkable influence in my life since I started my course in web designing last month in August.
I have a little previous experience in web designing but right now even still in my foundation class, I have become fully confident in the field.
I work from 7.30 AM - 4.00PM and afterwards have to come back home and put in more effort into my studies. What I did was to take my SKILLS TRAIN pack along to work and in my spare time during lunch hours, I eat while looking into my books and trying to grab one or two points.Believe me every single word you read in your SKILLS TRAIN book is worth keeping in your head and I will quote here that "If you believe in the course you are engaged in, then every page, every chapter would present a new challenge to you and because you believe in it , you will win the race".

I have just completed section 1 of the web design manager course with a final TMA score of 100%. I had never worked with a computer until this course but since starting I have only had to re-submit 2 out of 15 TMA's and have achieved consistent scores of between 90 and 100%. For the past twenty years I have worked (and still am) as a painter and decorator and at the age of 38 I decided to radically change my career options and here I am!

I am over the moon with my progress thus far and look forward to getting into section 2. I never thought I would be able to do something like this but I have a great interest in the subject and I think that this keeps me going and helps me absorb the knowledge, while at the same time trying to chase down work on building sites I think I have climbed a mountain and I can't wait for the next one.

Over the last nine months myself and my family have had somewhat of an exhausting time!!

I started my course in September of last year and with my daughter starting nursery, I had plenty of time to get my head down and get stuck in!

However it then all changed in December. My partner was head hunted through her job and we decided to move from Manchester, where all our friends and family were, to Glasgow. As the full time dad all the moving and packing arrangements fell firmly in my lap! We were lucky enough to secure a asale on our house, which then fell through 4 days before Christmas, luckily another buyer came along one day later! However the sale did not go through til early March.

On January 2nd we moved everything in to storage and moved into a rented flat in Glagow where we stayed for 6 months. Try as I might to look after my daughter full time and acclimatise to a new city, it was very tough to get on with my course, espcially as I am in the process of learning Javascript!! I should also mention at this point that we were also planning a wedding htrougout this period!

In May year we moved into our new house and we found a nursery for my daughter, which she started in late August. Hence September became the month to start my course. It was also the month we were getting married, which we did back on September 6th. (I have also now started to look for part/full time employment!!)

Despite all this upheavable I have thrown myself back into my course and have already had three successful TMA's returned, I have submitted another and hope to be in a position to finish at least another three TMA's by the end of the month!!

Working on nightshifts 12hours for 5/6 days without access to a PC at work. Yet I still manage to do my lab practice and submit TMAs' using my PC only when at home. This I belief is a wonderful achievement under the prevailing circumstances and I hope to continue until I reach the end.

I am amazing myself at the moment, initially I thought that I would only have approximately 7 hours or less per week to study, but surprisingly I have found that I am studying 14 hours plus per week. With the new knowledge I am gaining from the course so far I have been able to solve problems with connections, e-mail, printers etc without a second thought, even though I have a standard knowledge of computers I have found that I am looking at things I would have never looked at previously, hence solving the problems quicker, I am even finding myself explaining terms to people and giving them a low down on exactly how it works.

I began the CIW Web Design Manager course back in 2006 after my girlfriend and I had a tough start to the year with losing a baby it was something I felt I needed to do for myself and to further my career eventually so I could support us and the family we wanted. I fell off course at the beginning of 2007 as the same thing happened again knocking my girlfriend and I another hard blow. Since then I have picked up pace and just recently completed Section 1 albeit over 6 months behind my overall goal and more good news is that our 1st baby is due on the 12th December 2007 12 weeks left today so excited :) and I am more motivated than ever to get the whole course completed as soon as possible.

I started this course at the beginning of September, I managed to submit 2 assignments both with scores in the 90% area. Before this I couldn't work a computer very well, also I have a full time job 2 children one 8 and one 3 plus a pregnant wife due in January. I've put in a lot of time and dedication in, this is a great achievement for me without the help of skillstrain it wouldn't be possible.

I thought I would struggle with the Javascript section of the course, but I have been very pleasantly surprised with how quickly I picked it up with a little patience and determination. I was delighted to get 100% for the script I submitted for my final assessment, especially since my health has deteriorated again this month so it's been a struggle sometimes to keep up. At the same time I have completed a database-driven website for a friend, making use of php and mySQL which I've also had to learn as I went along. This all gives me confidence that I can be successful in the course and go on to make a living, despite my health issues.
