Cisco Qualifications (CCNA/CCNP) Course Certification Reviews
When I first looked at enrolling on this course, I was more than a little apprehensive of what the course would involve and how difficult it might be to understand and complete. It is many years since I last did any training, which incidentally was a Visual Basic course, unfortunately it was in the days when CD Writer's had only just come out, and due to it being a distance/home working course it was virtually impossible to get any help whatsoever from my tutor, who was sat on the other end of a phone and obviously could not see the programming code I had entered to assist me with issues I was having.
I have mentioned the above purely so that anyone who doubts their ability to complete this program will hopefully gain some confidence, especially as these days sending files, visiting forums, asking for help are so much more accessible and easy to find. I also do not rate myself as being naturally bright or intellectual, but so far I have achieved 90% markings on two TMA's & 100% on 1 TMA, which has given me great pleasure and confidence to go on. Since starting this course in October I have had to completely wipe the hard drive of my family PC due to a virus, and have had my Laptop send back to dell for a new Hard Drive, Memory & Motherboard, due to long standing issues I have experienced, so the laptop itself was basically wiped clean and I have lost 2-3 weeks not being able to submit my TMA's earlier. I hope this little tale of disaster gives those of you who May doubt their ability the strength and courage to continue with confidence

I just want to share this very extremely positive progress report that I'm having, since I started my course. Being a house cleaner at private household I can't believe it sometimes that I'm going this far.
Gaining knowledge to change my life and to change my career. 100 % at progress report is like an opening gate of my dreams. And most of all getting myself in the dark. Thank you skills train more power.

It was always my dream to study CISCO, and now thanks to Skills Train this dream comes true. Sometimes is very hard to share work and learn, so I'm satisfied about my results and I always go ahead. Day by day I'm improving my professional language and ordinary English as well. I'm working as data engineer so this is first step in my career ladder and I'm just finish IT course “A+”. With both of this experiences, practical and very good theory I'm looking forward about my future. A few weeks ago I started looking for new job and I'm very happy about results. I had a few interviews where I'd impressed employers of my knowledge about IT. On the other hand, I'll finish next part of the course soon and became network engineer. Which is another good opportunity on job market. Finally I'm looking forward of the future because day by day my qualifications are better. I think this Christmas will be much better than last ones because in new year my life will change 100 percent, thanks to Skills Train and my hard job.

AFTER JOINING THE SKILLS TRAIN I HAVE LEARNED A LOT. BUT THE BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT WAS WHEN I WAS ABLE TO FIX MY OWN COMPUTER EVEN BEFORE I COMPLETED THE COURSE. I HAVE GAINED A CONFIDENCE AND SKILLS FROM SKILLS TRAIN TO WORK WITH COMPUTER.

Today for the first time I have successfully created my own FTP server. I have done it because I wanted to share photos a files with my family and this is one of the smartest ways. I guided members of my family how to connect that exact server, It is such a fun when they have not an idea what you talk about :). Even that I am not so far with course to know FTP servers, the material I've studied already got me to understand how The networks works and how to use protocols and so on. Thank you

I've working very hard and learn in the same time, any way this month I succeed to complete seven Tutor Marked Assignments and finis first section of the course, actually which I have propose for this year.

AI'm an A+ N+ student at the same time a cleaning lady in private houses. One day my madam is very frustrated with her lap top, for it's very slow I ask her to upgrade her search engine to Mozilla Firefox and to delete those junk file of her.
But I told her to back up or copy all her important file before doing it. And go to tools recovery click day 1 performance, from the day she bought her lap top and it works. She said that the performance of her lap top is faster. she is very please with my advice and told me by learning at skillstrain it makes me a extra ordinary person, she can't believe it to herself that her maid got a IT knowledge and she's very proud having me. She gives me more time in my study this time and even encourages me to do better in future.

The Story of success
I just celebrated my 46th birthday. In December 2006
I received an ad for skills train. At the first look I took it as a normal, not important add
but then I kind of started thinking about it how it could bring benefit to my life ,as life
hard that time since I had to work to earn enough money for 6 people in the house.
Then as you know I received an ad from skills, after filling it in I contacted them, they
fixed an interview for me so they came to see me a couple days after. They were quite satisfied with the over all and I immediately started my ICT hardware course.
During this time of period I faced lots of difficulties, uncertainties but I was struggling
not to let myself down on this because it was not easy to give enough time to family
and with long working hours 6 days in a week and of course the studying which was not a
really easy job either but at certain times my wife & children encouraged not to give up,
always kept me on my feet. I felt stronger and decided to stay strong because it is
for my benefit after all. I worked hard all night & day which really made a lot of
progress and showed my hard working. My average was 99.9 % I was really pleased with
my result.
I'm really Thankful to ALLAH (swt), the skillstrains team and my family, who helped on
every occasion when I needed help to achieve what I want.

Being as the only son takes a toll of you as you have to make sure you study as well as work to get the money. My phase of life is very much the same as I study as well as working. The time I went on skills train, I have learnt the new way of living life. I am more confident in the way I speak and more confident in expressing myself through my work. I have submitted 4 TMA's and I have done really well. All thanks to the Skills Train and the cooperative team of tutors have helped me a lot.

My achievements for this month have been to re schedule my study time with the onset of new work contracts which now take my working day to more than 14hrs with most spent driving around the county getting from one call to the next whilst my tma results have been maintained as I set my standards high and though I have faulted in sending in my tmas I feel no that I can get back on track and complete part 2 before the new year thus giving me 4 months to complete my ccna

This month I completed the last assignment in CompTIA N+, and felt I punched above my weight in terms of assignments results over the past few months.
Credit is due to the great Tutor Team especially Vince who goes that extra mile every time, and Admin staff, who are always on hand and offer swift Practical help and advice.

Studying computer courses has been always on my mind since 1995 when I was still leaving in Africa, I tried to take courses By that time they where teaching DOS programmes only, then my mother died who supported me at that time I drop out ihad no choice afew years later came to the UK by the help of my Auntie who leaves in Germany now to finish up my studies by then the only course I wanted was any computer course I found them expensive since I was international student I could only manage to pay for my self an introduction course to IT finished it well but Auntie couldn't pay for two courses in the due course I started a family which involved childcare plus working hence I saw an advertisement on TV at that time since then never turn back with all the difficults I have gone through now I am finishing A+ start N+ and CCNA follows hoping to finishing by end of 2009 my aliemate goal (dream) is to be technical engineer and improve on my earning potential to support my family better and have more time with them.

I have been working in a lens manufacturing company for last 4 years. I desperately wanted to change my career because I was fed up with the work and I always believed that I could do more in my life by studying my dream course and finding the right job. But sometimes im bit laid back thinking that I will not be able to do the course because I have to do night shift 12 hours then in day time look after my little girl. But im determined and put a target to complete my course by August 09 and trying to make it happen. I know once the recession is over, better the chance for a network technician especially Olympics is on the way. I'm looking forward to finish the course and find an apprenticeship program,get experienced and eventually find the right job.

When I took on the course before Christmas I was not in IT although have had pcs and a laptop for a while, I sat for a number of weeks reading the material and when confident though just submit tma 001 what a result 100%
just submitted tma002 not as sure but can only see what the result is

I started my CompTIA A+ Certification Course a few months ago which I had start it really well getting 90% correct answers in the first Tutor Marked Assignment ,but when I continued studying I got stuck and I could not go any further. After a few month I finally put my self together and restarted studying with a much positive way and hopefully I will recover from my time lost.

THERE IS A LOT OF STUDYING INVOLVED IN THESE COURSES AND WITH HAVING 2 KIDS IT IS NOT ALWAYS EASY, BUT I PUT AS MUCH TIME IN AS I CAN AND I AM REALLY ENJOYING THE COURSE AND GOT MY FIRST 100% MARK, FEEL REALLY PROUD OF MY SELF AS I AM TRYING TO BUILD A BETTER LIFE AND FUTURE FOR MY FAMILY, AND DOING THIS COURSE WILL HELP ME THERE. I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT PART OF THE COURSE.

My biggest achievements so far since I started this course are trying to keep my family fed and a roof over there head I have a son called Thomas-James one years old and I also got married to my Fianc裠in July 2008 which have been my greatest achievements that year and also trying to keep on top of this course I have had problems doing the course with a lot going on in my life like losing my job and my son been born and getting married it was the hottest day of the year it was wonderful but hot. One thing that has been hard is that my mum has alhzeimers and is in a nursing home and she wanted me to make something of myself by going to college like I did and be somebody and this course is going to get me there I just wish she could be more involved with it all she means the world to me and this course is for her and for my self thank you.

Avoiding the ps3 and mercs and sticking at studying though I have slipped a few times, but I have managed to get into tech mode and annoy everyone I know talking about computers and what I'm learning :)

I think my results from the TMAs have improved considerably over the last month and I have even had a 100% mark. Also I have had some other good results. I think this is a good effort considering I have had less time to study because of different work patterns and I have studied harder during the time I have had available.
