Within this month I have more than I expected. I didn't think I would able to absorb all the information on my course as well as I have. I have had the best possible results back and to be honest I never thought that I could achieve the results I have. I'm hoping that I can continue my work for the following months to come and can reach my goal sooner than expected. I would like to thank my team members for honesty and the quick and fast responses I have received.

Thank you

I have managed to achieve 93% on my last assignment and have just completed and done TMA09, I feel that this month has been a better month me as I've been able to get some progress done on my coursework.

Well for me it hasn't been submitting TMA's but the fact that since I have taken this course my life has changed big time. Before I had very little going for me but as soon as I passed my comptia a+ I found myself working for the NHS , and later even for my local council. Submitting the coursework was affected but I was installing servers , PC's , Routers, Switches. I always kept the latest updates for the course with me and applied what I had learnt reading them in my work. My wife is extremely happy with the way life has changed for us as my life before was very bad with me being a heroin addict. I got into this course because I liked computers and it was more of a hobby, however it helped me overcome addiction at the same time as open doors and today I am so happy and grateful because of it :)

I have only been using computers for a year and have found working with them very interesting and much fun ! I first started using the home pc for internet use, then moved onto burning dvd's etc etc, I find nearly every time I use a pc I learn something new. so why not try and make a career out of something I really enjoy doing ! I feel that I am progressing really well but still find it hard to get the study time in as I have a full time job which involves quite a lot of extra hours and also have a family to cater for, I'm sure there are lots of others in the same boat. I have scored well in all of my TMA's and I'm very focused on where I want this course to take me.

Completed my N+ course and went to take my public exams. Through out the course my marks have been fairly high averaging above 95% overall. My moment of truth came when I went for my public exams. I failed at the first attempt but did not lose hope as I missed by a few marks. I was able to gauge what I needed to get my certification. After a week I retook the exam and passed on 25 March 2009! I'm raring to go on the next stage of my course. A big thanks to my Tutor team and Skills Train!

I am currently a gap year student working full time, I get up at 5:30 in the morning and study before going to work, this way I can still enjoy my social life after work. Studying in the morning gives me plenty of peace and a smile on the face for the rest of the day.

Recently I have made a concerted effort to get training more often and streamline my efforts so that I maximise my efficiency in the little time I seem to have these days. I have two little daughters (3 and 1) and my time is divided amongst work, the girls, and training mainly. So thanks to a new regime that is working very well I have been able to submit more tests in less time! I find myself, these days, really waiting for the next section to arrive in the post so I can get on with the next part. I feel very happy with my progress recently.

I feel I am doing well in my MCSA, I have always like working with PC but somehow always find myself working in other areas. I have been studying really heard because I do want to pass the exam at the end of it 100's, 90's not even when I was in school its mostly 80's and 70's. it only goes to show when you put your mind to something, the result can be unbelievable.

I have been doing this course since Feb 2007 and in nearly every assignment I have received 100% which I am very proud of myself for as I never thought I would be able to amount to something lik this Skillstrain has taught me so much over this time and I haven't had the easiest of times over the past few months its been hard to concentrate with anything after having a miscarriage but I have found that there is help if you need it thank you

'Sorry Steve, we are going to have to let you go', undoubtedly the worse information you can receive from your employer and no matter how they try to explain that 'its not personal' or ' its down to the economic situation' it still comes as a shock to the system.
For me, however, it was met with a resolution that this is going to give me the opportunity to study even harder and look to a future doing something I want to do for a career, rather than just settle for another 'job'!
So a big thanks Skillstrain, thanks for giving me something I can solidly believe in and something that, even when you are given the most dire news, can enable you too focus on the future.
