Great course, I've really gone forward with my life .

Having started my course in January I feel I have done very well so far,
TMA01 100%, TMA02 95% and TMA03 100%. After achieving very good marks in my TMA's early on I slipped up a little with my last one TMA04 and only achieved 72% which was a great disappointment to me. I put this down to tiredness and a slight lack of concentration given that my life is too busy for just one person. Currently I am working full time, taking care of my loving, pregnant girlfriend who suffers badly from IBS, designing two websites, one for a dental clinic and the other for a paint company, managing a project to develop a junior fly fishing club in my local community and studying. I have taken the decision to put on hold a few of my more time consuming past times on hold in order to concentrate fully on my studies and I am sure this will show in my latest TMA submitted this evening.

Given that we all need a little "kick in the Butt" sometimes and having received mine with a disappointing 72%, I am taking the appropriate action to ensure I dont in my eyes fail again.

My achievement in TMA03 with a 100% result was an excellent achievement for me as I was under a lot of pressure and juggling myself in between work, family and studies, I consider it a great achievement as during the time I was studying my husband had to go out of the country for a long period which left me struggling with 3 children demanding for attention in homework etc, managing the household single handed, going to my full time job plus studying for my TMA03. So completing TMA03 and getting 100% pass was a remarkable.

Studying really hard staying up all hours to study as my days and most of my nights have been took up with my 5 children and one being a baby of 4 months. I have still managed to achieve good results in my TMA's which I am extremely proud of.

Despite being a mother to 6 children, (whose ages are between 16 and 3) a marriage breakup and a period of illness, I have managed to carry on scoring between 78 - 80% on the assignments that I have handed in. I have managed to carry on with my studies in the difficult times, although at times it has been quite a struggle to motivate myself properly. On my last assignment that I handed in, I was slightly apprehensive I wasn't totally sure that the things I was reading were actually going into that dusty filing cabinet in my head!
I have booked to attend the online link-ups that are coming up and I am really looking forward to them. I am enjoying the course and look forward to starting my life totally over when I have finally completed it!

I passed my exams in Russian University after distance learning course, so now I'm going to write BA research. I'll hope I'll get my BA diploma at the end of May 2007. it's very important for me, because I'm living in UK but don't want to leave my Russian university. I'm studying IT for business in Russia, so it's very interesting for me to improve my skills, to learn lots of new things during studies with Skills Train. At the beginning of course I had some difficulties, because it's always not very easy to study on-line, but now I can feel a real progress, especially after sending my 1st assessment. It's like a first step to bright future in Russia and in England.

My boyfriend isn't very good in computers, but he likes use the Internet every day, and of cause he asks me many questions. Usually it would be difficult for me to answer, but now after only 1 month of studies I can do it. I like to improve myself every day.

APART FROM DOING SO WELL IN MY STUDIES, I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SOLVE ONE OR TWO PROBLEMS FOR MY FRIENDS ON THEIR COMPUTERS WE ARE BOTH IMPRESSED, AND I AM SURE THIS WOULD DRAW MORE PEOPLE TO STUDY WITH SKILLS TRAIN, THEY WERE ALL ASKING ME WHAT BROUGHT ABOUT THE QUICK CHANGE. THANKS TO SKILLS TRAIN.

If I could describe my training on Web Design Management with the SkillTrain, it would be Excellent. The training has given me a lot more insights which I had not previously given much thought to. Initially, I absolutely didn't know much about computer's hardware and software. The Live interactive training sessions has done more than expected in enabling me to identify PC components and installing them. Thanks guys, keep the Catch-it coming!

I really think my progress on the training is amazing. I haven't covered much yet but I am amazed at some of the skills what I have acquired so far. Presently, I am in my 2nd Section Part A (JavaScript). My results have been fantastic. I love the style of presentations, reinforcement notes and Post Assessment Test. Which is unbelievably helpful. I am proud and excited being part of such a great IT learning centre and team devoted environment.

I would like to express my thanks to the SkillsTrain entire team at IT Matters for a fantastic job, you all has proved a high level of impeccable and praise-worthy professionalism and competence in IT training.

I WORK FULL TIME AS A SALES PERSON. MY PARTNER I ALSO BRING UP 3 CHILDREN, ASWELL AS A SON I HAVE FROM MY PREVIOUS RELATIONSHIP. I STUDY AS AND WHEN I CAN. ATLEAST THREE TIMES A WEEK SOMETIMES FOUR. ON THE WEEKENDS I TRY TO SUBMIT MY ASSIGNMENTS. MY PARTNER IS A GREAT HELP TO ME AS SHE HELPS OUT AS MUCH AS SHE CAN. WITHOUT HER I DONT THINK I WOULD BE DOING THIS. UNTIL 2 YEARS AGO I WAS TOTALLY COMPUT ILLITERATE. THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME THE CHANCE TO ACHIEVE MY POTENTIAL AT ONE YEAR OF 40, YOU THINK ITS THE END OF THE ROAD. ESPACIALLY WITH NO QUALIFICATIONS BEHIND YOU.

After a long spell where I had not submitted a TMA, I have now got back on track with the help of the tutor team. I was finding the Perl part of the course a bit too difficult to juggle with my very tiring job of being a joiner. After a hard day at work it was hard to take in the Perl language. The tutor team gave me links to other web pages to help and I also started doing coursework on my lunch breaks. This has sorted out my understanding and I have now only got 2 TMAs left in this section to complete. Silly mistakes in my TMAs have prevented me from getting the 100% results I was getting earlier in the course but hopefully I can stop these silly mistakes by reading the TMA questions a bit more carefully.

I am a housewife and I am learning English as a third language. When I started this course I found the vocabulary really difficult and I had to look into the dictionary to understand it. Now I can understand it alot easier. It helps me to improve my reading and writing skills. I found the course really really interesting. As you see I got 100% in my last TMA and all the TMA I got good results. I worked really hard to get good result. I am busy doing housework and going to college. I want to complete my course as soon as possible. I love to do web designing and every time I start reading my book I just want to keep reading it. I am glad that I start this course and this is going to be my career in future. Thanks for listing to me.

Even though I have been doing this course for 15 months, and have only gotten half way through my second book, the reason that this is was due to financial difficulties in my first year. Finding out that the house I bought in 2001 was unstable, there was a converted attic which was not being structurally supported and was not picked up until we were selling the house to get out of debt, really put a strain on my coursework. To top things, I was working 2 jobs to get out of the debt. We are still struggling, but I am going full steam ahead, even with juggling a full time and part time job. I am hoping that I will soon finish my second book and be getting my next within a week or two.

I have just completed section 1A of the CIW course with average marks of 90%+. I have never studied anything to do with computers before starting this course apart from surfing the web and sending e mails! It has been daunting, but I have a goal in mind. Being able to work more flexibly to be able to spend more time with my family would mean the world to me.

I hope I am appreciated as I had a very basic education in India and since then I have tried to worked hard to achieve my best in improving my English and also I am trying my very best to achieve a dream to be a good web designer as I like designing and I can do so only with your help and my dedication to my studies.

I have just completed my second TMA of the JavaScript web languages part of my CIW Web Design Manager's course which is an achievement in itself! I recently became seperated with my wife & our 3 little girls and things have been hard to say the least. Concentration is very hard for me at this time with juggling full-time work and seeing my girls as much as possible, but I am now really enjoying my course work as I get to grips with a planned schedule I am determined to stick to.

After falling behind due to personal circumstances and pressures, in the last few months I really feel I have got back on track this month, I managed to start focussing and progressing with my coursework again. As a result I have managed to submit 2 TMAs this month and now feel I am starting to make real progress with the course.

I am doing the course CIW and have been able to submit only the first assignment so far. But when I received my progress report I was really happy to have scored 90%.

Having given birth to a baby daughter on the 15th of March, me and my husband were in seventh heaven with the new addition to the family. But since neither of our parents could be with us, it was hard work for us in the initial two weeks with sleepless nights, a cluttered apartment, me dealing with a stressed out post delivery body and a baby who needs constant attention. So it makes me feel really happy and excited to have scored 90% in my first assignment and motivates me to keep up the good work.

I got 2 x 100% marks and one 90% mark for this month alongside the other issues I have faced. I am really pleased that my efforts have paid off, and thanks to Team A. I have really got to grips with the content of my course.

I had a lot of problems with my computer after my husband's browsing the Internet. I absolutely didn't know what could be wrong. I also book an professional IT repair. But then I decided, that I have to use what this course has given me. So I sat down and took care of my PC. I have stopped lots of running programs, and I found that I had 70 viruses on my PC. So removed them, then run disk clean up, and in the end I rebooted my pc. When it started up again, the PC was like new, and I didn't have to pay for repair. I never could achieve this before, but now I have done it all by myself. I am making an XHTML page, and am now trying to implement Java Script, which I study at the moment. Its good fun, and I am enjoy more and more of what my course brings to my life.
