IT Training Courses Certification Reviews
Very informative and fun, I enjoyed it very much.
-Caroline
Very enjoyable. I'm looking forward to the next session now!
-Adrian
As advertised, this was a follow up session to the Learning Styles training course.
From both sessions, I learned much about myself. I had already implemented one of the techniques from the first, and from the second, I now have another couple of learning aids to try. I found the first one worked well, and one of the new ones yet to be tried, I'm very enthusiastic about trying.
Once again a huge thanks to the tutors, who run these courses at silly o'clock to acommodate us all. Without their support and committment, we students wouldn't have such great tools to enable us to do so well.
A note to those who have, so far, not attended a live training session: you have no idea what fun and valuable resources you are missing. Shame on you, and get one booked :)

When I started my CIW course, I was a little concerned that the syllabus looked immense. This course, on computer maintenance, did 2 things: -
1. Showed me that I had understood my materials.
2. Brought some fun, cameraderie, and practicality to something that some would consider a "dry" section of the course.
Well done to the SkillsTrain team, and I look forward to attending the sessions advertised at the end of this one.
-Carrie
I attended the CIW live internet training and found it very humbling. It's refreshing to be reminded about subjects that you can momentarily forget from time to time.
-Simon
Very useful, thank you
-Salim
I had trouble logging on to the Live Internet training, but received a call from a tutor who pointed me in the right direction. Once I had joined the session, I found that I knew most of the items covered, but I learned a new way of accessing the defragment option and also learned about Dr Watson, which I did not know. So all in all, very worthwhile!
-Christopher
Very well presented.
-Andreas
Brilliant, really enjoy these live training sessions, would like to see more of them - on the whole, really enjoy them!
-Matthew
These internet sessions just keep getting better and better. Many thanks.
-Paul
I have attended a couple of live internet training sessions, they are very good. They have helped me alot as I feel like I am in a classroom. I learnt new ideas about how to study in the lesson "YOU AND YOUR MEMORY" and I believe I will benefit a lot from them.
-Gilbert
The MS DOS introduction training was very useful as a revision of what I had covered before in my course.
I found the interactivity of the training very enjoyable particularly where participants can digitally raise their hands to carry out an activity assigned by the trainer. I therefore would encourage more students to find time and attend as many courses as possible. Thank you.
-Abubakar
It was very interesting and I enjoy learning this way.
-Daniel
I found this lesson to be very informative and useful. Many thanks.
-Leslie
It was my first time I attended the LIT and I was really impressed. I was really thrilled with the LIT. It made everything look so simple. And to see some volunteers carry out some commands made it even more exciting. Hearing and seeing the commands being carried out made the whole expereince of learning through LIT interesting. I can't wait to book another session. I enjoyed it and it was delivered in a manner that was easy to understand and follow. The pace at which it was delievered was good.

This was a very interesting subject for me and I feel I got a lot out of this live internet session - "Introduction to MS DOS". I learnt a few DOS commands that I had never heard of before and what they do.
-Argon
Thank you to the tutors, I found the training extremely helpful and will attend a lot more of them from now on.
-Richard
Very informative. Will try out some of the revision techniques and see how I get on.
-Kevin
Thank you. I would highly recommend other students to attend such sessions.
-Balkrishna
Thank you for helping me to refresh what was first taught me 18 years ago at college. It certaianly brushed the cobwebs off the grey mater!
-Richard
I found this session a little bit hard to grasp as I have not yet fully covered this topic but still enjoyed the learning experience. I know that there is a follow up video that I can use to refresh what I have learnt.
-Simon
This session was extremely helpful as I knew very little about MS DOS beforehand. Tutor was excellent and very clear with the instructions.
