IT Training Courses Certification Reviews
I seemed to have gone a little astray over the last couple of assignments but I am still enjoying the course. I hope to do ok and it does not matter how hard things get I will not give up. I also know that help is at hand when ever I need it from my tutor team. Here's to success for the future.

THOUGH A LOT OF PERSONAL ISSUES HAVE MADE IT TOUGH FOR ME TO STUDY, BUT MY FIRST 11 TMA A+ ASSIGNMENTS GAVE ME GOOD MARKS WHICH HAVE BOOSTED MY CONFIDENCE. MARKS INCLUDE 5/ 100, 1/ 97, 3/90, 2/80.

Since I enrolled in SkillsTrain I have been able to understand how centain devices and accessories in computing work.
I work in a computer and accessories supply company in which I am familar with many computing devices but I didnt know how they work, but now am able to identify any device or accessories that I come across, and I know with time I am going to work with those devices or accessories at the end of the MCSE.
The MCSE is really changing my life from one step to another, I urge everyone who wants to build a carrier in IT, SkillsTrain is the faster way.

I have been working under pressure as my father had an heart attack and I have been taking my mum to the hospital for the last 6 weeks, but I have still been managing to study as it has helped me to focus and keep my mind occupied.

I enrolled on the CCNA course about 15 months ago and I am glad I did. Had I enrolled on it somewhere else I would have been booted out long time ago! Thanks to its highly flexibility in nature. It has not been easy combining my low paid hard work job with this course. But I am glad and always feel very comfortable when I bury my head deep on the course material.
One thing that keeps me going is the advertisement of jobs galore on this website and the corresponding fat salaries not to mention the string benefits. In fact this and success stories I read on this website tell me that there is 100% hope of seeing the light at the end of the tunnels. For me being on this course is a dream come through not as job only but also what I have fancied to do in future. I have realised that if one lays their hands on something that they love doing they do and do it very very well. I like my level of progress.
One thing I can't wait is the cycberclass I will be stating in a few week's time. The first time I was introduced to it, it was fantastic!
Lets all study very hard for it. How wonderful it will be for me to write my name and add my CCNA to it! Upon successfull completion of this I can't wait to start the next one which is CCNP. Thanks to my dedicated tutors who have made the course materials so well self explanatory that I find it hard to ask them questions on a topic or a chapter.

I have gained a much better insight into how a computer functions which I have not had the pleasure of learning about until now. I am finding my course very informative and not tedious and it is a joy to learn so much. Knowledge is good!

For 21 years I was a digger driver to trade with no IT background at all. Not being one to sit back and accept the fact that it just works , who cares how (My PC that is ) and armed with a desire to know more I started out on a voyage of discovery . I now find myself at the opposite end of the scale.I appear to have become the village IT man . The knowledge I have gained through my N+ is incredible . My PC skills are impressing my kids 17 & 14 which is saying something . My CCNA although difficult is proving rewarding and hopefully at the end of it all will be a job offer that will put my new found skills to the test . The down side, if you could call it that, is my employer and friend can see the progression from digger driving PC illeterate cabbage to intellectual IT man . He knows that the day is drawing closer when I will shake his hand, thank him for the good times, curse him for the bad times and wish him bon voyage as I head off into the sunset port-folio in hand as a qualified IT man. All of this is thanks to the back up I have from you guys. You sit in the wings ever watch-full never criticising and always ready to help. It is appreciated. Thanks for everything

After a few months studying for the Network+ exam I landed a full time IT Support job with my now current employer who was impressed with my commitment to the course. I have now passed the exam and am certified and now have the chance of a promotion because of this.

My learning curve is extremely high at the moment.
I am reinforcing my basic understanding of how computers work, as well as learning new things everyday.
This course is intense but it is also very rewarding.
The facts are accurate, the learning tools are accessible and reliable.
The overall experience is quite enjoyable.

First of all, before I started this course I didn't know anything about hardware, but now I can make backups of my laptop and apart from that, I now know much about PCs. I can connect my laptop to Internet without anybody helping me.

I started this course with the sole purpose of passing it and then changing my career for the better (hopefully). I have gained a vast amount of knowledge that I had no idea about before, my grades are in the 90's which has amazed me. My daughters nursery school has a computer which was basically poorly, after a week putting into practice what I have learnt on this course it's now fighting fit and I have now shown them how to do things like newsletters etc, so that it looks a lot more professional. It doesn't take ages to get going like it did before. Money well spent so far, hopefully it will be worth the wait.

Being a man of 60 years old, I have found it hard to firstly understand a lot about computers, and so have had to study very hard and achieved over 95% average over all the section 1 and section 2 exercises.
Secondly, I have had to work long hours doing a full time job, then after a day of hard physical work I have had to force myself to study for about two to three hours an evening to achieve the results I have.
Thirdly, due to the hard work, I am even more determined to complete the course and to become qualified to a high standard, and therefore increase my prospects of a better paid and more satisfying job.
I have on many occations due to this course been able to help some of my neighbours to fix and maintain there computers. Thank you Skills Train.

I have been doing full time voluntry work with the british heart foundation from 9am to 4pm every week day then coming home doing house work etc and feeding my 2 children plus doing my studying of the night time every day. Not only have I been doing all this but on my last assignment I somehow managed to get a %100 percent mark which I am very proud of. hopefully I can continue getting good marks and get a good job out of this training so I can give my 2 children a comfortable life when they eventualy finish school.
-Argon
I have progressed highly in the past few months, and performed well in my TMA's.
Since April I have been acheiving 100 and 90 marks in my TMA's. Not going lower than 90% and for my written assignment I gained 100%.
I have been able to use the learning material from my Skills Train course in my job as an Apprentice Developer, where I develop different systems and infrastructures for the company.
From the money that I have made in my apprenticeship, I have just started renting a house in Bristol.

THIS MONTH I HAVE COMPLETED TWO TMA ALSO I HAVE SET UP MY OWN COMPUTER AND INTERNET ACCES BY MY SELF WITH THE KNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE GAINED FROM THIS COURSE SO FAR .IT MAY NOT SOUND A LOT TO SOME PEOPLE BUT FOR MY SELF IT IS A GREAT ACHIVEMENT.
-Adrian
I have recently completed the first book on my Cisco course program and am very pround of the fact that I maintained an average of over 90% in my Tutor Marked Assighments.
I take pride in the achievement due to the difficult circumstances I have found myself in. My mother in law has recently had to undergo two very big operations due to cancer, this meant various long journeys to Basingstoke and Cheltnem from South Wales. It was also a very stressful time for my Wife as one could imagine.
I also work very long hours, on average around 55hrs per week. So bearing all this in mind I once again reiterate my pride in my accomplishments thus far.
-David
I have a small knowledge of IT, but I have been helping a small computer company with their work in most of my spare time which has helped me improve my knowledge. This has included the following work : Replacing switches to improve network performance, adding or replacing memory modules in PC's, network cards, and adding SCSI cards to Small Business Servers. Also with the work that I have studied through Skillstrain, plus the extra knowledge I have now, I managed to work out and fix a computer, which was a very satisfying achievement.
I have also sorted out four family & friends computers from securing a wireless network, putting in an internal USB hub, graphics gard, memory to getting them onto the interent and explaining how to use it.
Over all I am very pleased to what I have achieved so far through my studying and the work that I have been doing as it has proved to me that I can do it.

Well what can I say if it's having been said in Success Stories, I read some of them and they are all true? Learn when you can. I try to read the book in my dinner hour, Sometimes I need to read the page 2 to 3 times to understand it. Why not iv got the time and when I get home get strata on the PC then on the www and fined more info about what your learning. There's nothing on the www that you cannot find out. If you need help you've got skillstran but if you find out something on the www you will feel more pleased because YOU have done it yourself. If you forget something and you remember it that you have seen it in the book you can go back on it and read it again.
