I never knew I was far behind the world's IT until I enrolled at SkillsTrain to take CCNA to bridge the gap.

So far, I am yet to complete N+ but I can now see the light at end of the tunnel which I am now hoping to break through the darkness side of the world of an IT and I cannot wait to start my actual CCNA course.

Thanks to SkillsTrain for coming and saving my life, and put my career on course. I hope at the end of course (CCNA) I would see the light at the peak of the mountain and my life will never be the same again. Truly speaking, I hate the kind of job I am doing right now.

I have learnt a lot of things in my course. Now I can boast full skills in home networking and office. I am enjoying my course so much and am studying very hard to know more.

After having taken a rather long break I find myself in a situation where I am now comfortable to take study for a few hours in the evening. I find it both stimulating and rewarding and also helps me exercise my brain a lot more.

I started my a+ course at the start of this year and I am averaging 89% at the moment. I am thoughly enjoying this course and am hoping to sit my exam soon. I has been a tough year though with having to move three times due to my house being sold by my landlord and then my partner becoming pregnant, thus we moved to bucks so she could be with her parents during the pregnacy.
However I now hope we can settle in our new home, with our daughter who was born on the first of December. this is now sparing me on to complete my course asap so that I can provide a better life for my new family.

hoping for your votes

For the month of November, a good part of my time was shared between:- my studies and work, though I had to resubmit some of the tutor marked assighment, I felt satisfied that I achieved. I am happy with the progress I made. I am begining to feel much more confident with Hardware and software maintenance. The marks I attained were good. I didn't have internet, but I am now happy that I can log into student world in the evening to follow online training.

I am very happy with the achievement I have got from SkillsTrain and I have shown it to my company this month, which the management is pleased with the outcome on my job.

I have put mush on this to achieve what I am doing now and I really work hard for about four months now thanks to SkillsTrain.

It's not easy to do this on my own but with high security in demand in networking and MCSA now I feel very happy with the professionalism I have show to my services througout.

It's a great challenge to me and when I started I was panicing, but as days went by I put much effort in to the course thanks to SkillsTrain once more.

I've got my studying off to a great start by achieving 100% in my first assignment, with thanks, in no small part to the supplied course literature which covers everything you need to know to prepare yourself for the assignment at the end of each section.

Continuing on with the rest of my course I'm hoping to carry on this rate of achievement all the way up to MCSE!

Having had very little oppurtunities to use computers before, I have recently completed a 2500 word assignment for my work. I did all the printing, typing, format and layout on my own and was able to present the document as required. I felt a great achievement as other students were having to employ someone else to type their work for them.

I was unable to do my TMA's or even any study for about 18 to 24 month and have only now got the change to get back into it this month.

I have worked harder and passed more TMA's this month than I did in total befor.

I have worked hard this month as they say "in the face of adversity" I just wanted to be able to say I have done well...:-)

Before starting with skillstrain I was on job seekers allowance and honestly thought I would be stuck on it for the rest of my life. Since being with skills train and heading towards the qualifications I need, its opened up opportunities for me to start my own business, I am now coming off job seekers allowance and have started to build a positive future for me and my family. All because skillstrain was willing to give me a chance. I am currently liasing with InBiz and will have my own business up and running in the next few weeks. Thank you skillstrain for giving me a shove in the right direction!

Working around my 60 hour a week job. Driving 100's of miles a week. This course is giving me great hope for the future. When I see my results it gives me great encouragement to keep going, knowing that life can get better. I'm loving it, and wish that I did all this sooner.

I can build computers, help staff/children with IT skills and etc, install hardware and software onto desktops/laptops, I can also encrypt laptops when staff bring them to myself or even telling them over the telephone step by step procedure and keeping a record of any IT equipment sent to any people either on a spreadsheet or on a word document.

Over the past two months I have been studying very hard for promotion at work. One of my key tasks was to pass my A+ and N+ exams to help put a case forward for promotion. In December 2007 I passed both external exams to certify as an A+ IT Technician and now have the certificate on my wall at work. Then to make things even better I sat and passed my Comptia N+ exam in February and am now awaiting that certificate to go alongside my A+ one. My manager has just said he is going to support my case for promotion and fingers crossed it will be made true these coming months. All of this is down to the course materials received from Skillstrain making the studying a lot easier with excellant course materials.
Thanks

Since I started the course I haven't found it difficult instead I have learned new things about IT that I didn't know. The course is a smooth process of learning which can be helped with a lot of studying

Studying is not my strong point, so after doing 5 tma's and not having one needing to be re-submitted, I feel it is a brilliant achievement for myself. Considering I hated studying at school and left with no qualifications. What reinforced this achievement was that I managed to format a brand new fresh hard drive in my mates laptop a couple of days ago.

I feel I have achieved loads this past month because I have managed to get through the first section of the course even tho I was struck down with glandular feaver for 4 weeks, then lost my job and had to move home. I'm pleased that I had this course to be honest as it has kept me on an even keel and I have projected myself into my work instead of feeling sorry for myself.

Achieving to do this course after suffering a great deal of very bad health problems, smashed hip and spine, recovering from 5th heart attack ,told I will never work again. I am getting an average of 90% to 95% on all tma's up to this point. I am studying to do something that I can make a living at and give my children a better start in life, and to show others that it does not matter how ill you are, you can still achieve something in life, doing this course has given me a new lease on life. I aim to achieve 90% to 95% for the rest of the course if not better. My main achievement so far is to read, understand and learn the book in front of me. My memory has improved since and getting better. My greatest achievement is doing the Skillstrain course and showing my children never give up no matter how bad thing get,and not to listen to doctors. My partner and children are proud of me, getting the marks that I am, due to all the problems of my health. I have achieved beyond my expectations score wise due to the fact material you suppy is well laid out and easy to follow, which makes studying more fun.
