Since been doing the booklet that I have been given to work on I have learnt a lot more than I had already known.
Especially like the file extensions and command prompts, I did use them before but briefly now I no a lot more about them.
I Thought I knew a lot about computers since I have worked with them for years, and noticed that I have actually missed out a lot so I believe I have learned a lot and am glad I signed up for this course.

I STARTED MY CCNA COURSE IN JANUARY AND SO FAR I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO ACHIEVED IMMENSELY IN MY PC HARDWARE AND MAINTENANCE COURSE BOOKS. I NOW KNOW MOST PARTS IN A PC AND THEIR FUNCTIONS OF WHICH I DID REPAIRS MY INLAW'S PC PERFECTLY. I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GATHER A LOTS OF CONFIDENCE WHEN WHEN IT COMES TO KNOWING ABOUT A PC AND THEIR FUNCTIONS. THIS HAD LEAD ME TO SCORE 100% MOSTLY IN MY COURSE. I AM ALSO USING THIS OPPORTUNITY TO SAY A VERY BIG THANKS TO ALL IN SKILLS TRAIN WHO HAVE HELPED ME IN ACHIEVING GREAT. I AM NOW IN SECOND STAGE OF MY COURSE WHICH I BELIEVE AM GOING TO DO BETTER THAN PREVIOUS.

My greater achievement so far is the self confidence, I was not this much confident since I started my course in last December. I am able to trouble shoot far quicker than I could before, able to provide the best support to my team and customers. TMA's have been really helpful through out the course; I am expecting a promotion as a team leader next month.
The revision TMA19A was not very easy to do but I gathered my self and thought to do in my own style. I was thinking that I might have to resubmit it again but 3 days ago I received my TMA back and I have achieved 100% marks. My overall result has been 94.8% marks in 21 Tests so far.
I have recommended Skills Train to my mates. Thank you Skills Train for help, support and giving me self confidence. Thanks very much.

I'm looking to start a new career in the IT world and since I started the course work on January, I've worked really hard and I think my results have reflected that. I've now almost completed my A+ part of the course and I'm looking forward to finishing it and starting a new job as a PC technician.

Im just about to complete my last part of my section 2 part B. Im now getting nervous as I have struggled at times with my tma's. I'm looking forward to taking my first exam the A+ as I am working towards a CCNA. I recently with the help of the job centre and inbiz started my own business as a pc technician im in my second month of trading, with a lot of advertising in local papers yellow pages and distributing flyers things are starting to go well for me. Again this has been a struggle between running a business and helping my wife look after our 5 kids which the youngest is only 6months old so he is a hand full. I now have a steady flow of regular customers using my services and many of them are recommending me to there friends and family. But again if it wasn't thanks to skillstrain for giving me the chance to go on this course I wouldn't be where I am today giving my family and I a possible future for all of us to enjoy much better.

Day by day I am geting beter to use PC. This course is helping me to understand how to use properly PC. Now I can help some one with basic computing stuff.

Hi, I am a student from Romania, I study in my spare time,is a good way to learn and if you hope to change your life in the end of the course. When I start this course I found it very easy, I like to study about computer, is like a hobby now for me, I love it. I think if you don't like what are you studyng is beter for that person to do something what he/she enjoys, this is what is that matters for me in this course. I enjoy what I am studyng, good luck to everybody.

Apart from completing assignments 1 to 19 successfully in 3 months I have set up both a wireless network and, having gained sufficient confidence, linked two computers using a hub. In addition I have used both Remote Desktop using my LAN and used Remote Assistance to help a friend. I was not entirely please with the Remote Assistance process as it involves having a third party (Microsoft) manage the link through email to provide the interface. Anyway it was good to finally use another tool within XP.

I started helping people choosing laptops and computers for personal use. My knowledge improved a lot since last month. I work full-time but I organized well my time and I am doing pretty well with my Tutor Marked Assignment.

In only the first few weeks that I have started this course, I have achieved high marks in all of the 4 assignments I have submitted for marking, 100%, 93%,97% and 90% respectfully. My main aims are to succeed at the first module as quickly as possible, so that I May kick start my career as soon as.

Since starting this course I have helped diagnose a few of my friends computer problems, and even fixing them! I am happy to see that I have pushed on even though I have had family life, 3 little girls to tend with and a new job plus other interviews! I am very proud to continue perusing my IT dream. Can't wait till I have completed my course and enter a new career.

My story is very simple I take my books to work and learn in my all free time. Maybe that's why my last result was 100 per cent :)
For my this is double success because originally I come from Poland.
I am working very hard with SkillsTrain to get my CCNA!!!!

I have improved alot. Thanks to skilltrain my language is better and I am using my computer as a tool and not just as a videogame station.

Completing my A+ was an achievement for me, as I now feel closer to getting somewhere in life! I also had some trouble with the N+ as I've never done networking in such detail & really struggled with TMA8, having to resubmit it after getting my lowest mark of 68%, after re-reading the material & using the presentation CD I finally got 100% on the resubmitted assessment! The rest of the N+ seems like it will!! Another achievement would be being brave enough to use my girlfriends pink laptop, as mine has died!! :(

I have told a close friend of the IT course that I am doing and he has asked me to teach him when I learn more about the pc course as I progress with my course which I intend to do.

WHEN I STARTED WITH SKILLS TRAIN I WAS FINDING IT VERY DIFFICULT TO COMBINE WORK AND STUDIES AT THE SAME TIME. MY FIRST TUTOR MARKED ASSIGNMENTS MARK I OBTAINED 15% SHOWS HOW DIFFICULT IT WAS FOR ME. BUT I REALIZE THAT TO BE ''SOMEBODY'' IN FUTURE ONE MUST BE VERY FOCUSED IN DOING THINGS TO ACHIEVE A BETTER FUTURE. ALTHOUGH I WORK 80 HOURS A WEEK THROUGHOUT THE MONTH OF MARCH, I STILL HAD TO BE FOCUSED AND AS A RESULT I HAVE ACHIEVED A MINIMUM OF 78% WITH MY TMA.

I am 55,have been living and working in Leeds for the last 3 years after being made redundant in Norway where I moved to in 1975 and just over a month ago I signed up for A+N+. My first 4 tma's are done with fantastic results,never thought that I could achieve such results at my age. I feel that this course will help me,when completed regain employment back in Norway again. Just sent TMA05 and hope for the same results as the previous TMA's

After a slow start, (pc failure at beginning - just what I didn't need!!) I feel that I am really enjoying, not only studying this course but the time I am taking out to to study the material. I was very apprehensive at first but I think that now after achieving 100% this time on my most recent TMA that this has now given me even more motivation for this type of learning. I realise that this might not be a massive achievement in terms of for example exam taking but I feel a great sense of achievement as this is what I have been looking to achieve and have now finally met my target, well at least for my first Section. Thanks for the help and support in getting me here!!

I have improved my pass score from 83% to 93% on assignment TMA 02 thanks to great feed back on my previous assignment. This helped me to focus more on my work & try to better my scores.

Since starting my course 2 months ago it has made me feel like I am going somewhere, since leaving school I took totally the wrong career options and have plodded along a lot of dead end jobs in the past 7 years. about 10 years now I have been into my IT/Pc's as a pure hobby and never realised how much I would love to take my hobby into a working career, in just a couple of months I am now well on my way into tma04 and feeling real good about my achievement's in the course so far and I am determined to continue my study to get to my new career set goals thanks to you guys :)

My achievements this month is I have read all my current course book and done all my assignments I'm just wait on to catch up with my tma and I hopefully ill pass all of them and move on to the next part of the course witch im look forward to my goal is to get though the next part of the course hopefully within a couple of months tops as I want to get as much of my course done before my child is due to be born on the 16 September I think I done extremely well the past month and all my family are proud of how much I put in to my course since me and my partner have become homeless last month and are try to find somewhere now while temporary stay at my mum I think I achieve a lot this past month I just hope my tma show that in the results of my test I work hard
