Three and half months ago it was my dream, when I w'll create a Web site. But it is now reality. It is only possible due to my hard work, sincerity with my course and Skillstrain who give me successful training. I can't believe it that in very short time I will be able to create web site with attractive manner. During this training I have completed 16 assignments and got excellent results over 92% (in first attempt). Which is also shows my assignments. I am extremely grateful for (skill strain) assistance and advice which guided me to my all way to achieve this.

I feel I have improved my knowledge of the i.t world within doing my first 2 tma's. I am working very hard and committing as much time as possible to really crack on with my work., the past 2 results I have achieved on my tma has made me proud of how much I have worked. It is just so fulfilling when I receive my reports on the assignments, that it has been acknowledged by my tutor team and also shows that the team does really want you to succeed. Overall I believe I have achieved a greater understanding of what level of work is needed to really be at the top of an i.t career. It May be quite funny really as I know I'm just into the course and to gain so much is quite rare. I really put that down to my enthusiasm and willingness to work hard and harder to make a real success of my fast growing knowledge.

My partner's boss was having problems viewing the contents of a file that had been sent to him via e-mail.
He had heard that I was doing this course and phoned me to see if I could help. I talked him through changing his security settings and this enabled him to view his file. He was pleased with the help he'd received as he said he'd been struggling with it for some time.
The thing I was most pleased about was the fact that I automatically knew how to help, and was able to give that help over the phone. A few months ago I would have been just as stuck as he was!
I currently work as a nurse and have only owned a computer for 18 months, prior to this I had very little experience of using a computer and any attempts to get information from the internet had only led to frustration.
To start from such humble beginnings was a daunting task but one in which I was determined, and still am. I am often plagued with self doubt that I could ever know enough to do this for a living. So, for me, solving my partner's boss' problem was a huge achievement. It May not win any awards but it has made me believe in myself!

I started off this course quite a while ago, but due to 'family' issues I had to take a break - so when I got back into the swing of things, I found out that Microsoft had retired the 70-210 exam - which I was in the middle of, so I've had to start from the beginning, of the 70-270 exam and Im doing well, getting TMAs handed in quite quickly and getting decent passes. I have also been taking part in Men's 10K runs, and made a personal record of 1hr 29 in one of the runs. I have also been taking part in the local Men's group which I've been a member of and been going out on Day Trips to places like Millport. I have also just started another IT training course, CCNA with an Academy and I aim to have the MCSE, and CCNA completed by Christmas - October's the birth of my next child, so it'd be a good achievement then.

I am a full time mother and a full time teacher. I have three children ageing from 3-12 years of age. I am having to assess papers and plan work as we have had ofsted in the school and also getting my oldest to train for his black belt for Karate. I hardly have time for myself but what ever time I do have I spend it by reading the folder and submitting my TMA's. My last TMA I achieved 100% which I was shocked and have progressed tremendously I now feel I can achieve anything as I do feel a little lost when I wait for results of my TMA I am willing to submit another as it keeps me busy at home and at work.

Personally, I have gained from the course and the knowledge I have (however little),has helped me to keep going on the course.

Ever since I started on the course, my performances have been impressive despite the fact that my background is not within the IT. I now do more than I thought in the recent past.

On this note, I am not blowing my whistle but I am better than what I was when I started on the course and that is to my achievement.

Although I am at present in the early stage of my course, I have so much more belief in myself and possess much more confidence in what I can achieve. IT has always been of great interest to me for the challenges I have faced both in previous careers as well as my course. I am proud to say that my understanding of my p.c and how it works has enhanced regardless of the duties of caring for my two year old son, for just today I was given an amazing opportunity to build my own hard drive from scratch using components which my brother in law gave to me which I had recently revised about, I was so very unsure at first, though the minute I got the parts laid before me I just seemed to know more than I gave myself credit for. I have much pride in saying that it is up and running and that the only problem I came across was trying to attach the small cooling fan beneath the power pack only to be shown that it needed mounting underneath the floppy disk drive. I found it quite a challenge as it took me 3 and a half hours to do altogether due to nerves but I am able to make use of these parts for as long as I wish, so I shall keep on trying by taking it all apart and rebuilding and hopefully one day add to its capabilities, for at present it be rather basic. my partner and family were both shocked though ever so thrilled for me, and I believe much more in my capabilities for I thought when faced with all those wires graphic chips AMD square chips ports and a variety of pins, slots and layout of the motherboard itself that it would end in tears and a puff of smoke, but my brother in-law checked it and only had to correct the small fan, before starting it up and I just need to set the pathways to each drive and personalise the settings. I have been out of work due to pregnancy and then motherhood for almost 2 and a half years, in that space of time I felt my capabilities lessened as an individual through changing to become a first time mother, I owe so very much to skills train for giving me the opportunity to better myself in my knowledge of computers and bettering my skills to such an amazing level so very early on in this course for before I mostly self taught by using help topics and hands on experience as a site secretary in London as well as a admin based jobs thereafter. I look forward to my revision when my son naps or free time to do so is available for IT is something of great interest to me as it will one day help me to be a greater asset to any given company as well as better my sons future due to the stability both financially and physically for I hope to be able to somehow work from home so that I can be a mother as well as a helper to those whom need knowledge of IT skills just like I once did, I hope to teach as I have been taught and bring the same joy and fulfilment to others that this course has brought to me so far. with many thanks and smiles,

Although I got GCSE'S I have always struggled with logic and maths as I am an artist by nature. The reason I think this month I have achieved above my personal average is in the results. I started with 88% ,98%, 78% ,now 100%,100%,100%,100% and finally 100%. The results indicating my progress but this month The PDL design took me along time to understand the work is now getting harder and my result to my amazement was 100% aswell. This is truly amazing because at first I did not even remotely understand the question. I must have read the course notes 10 times and finally the magic path to understanding finally opened.

I am therefore particularly happy with this mark because it proves that the excellent course notes If given a chance with hard study can take any student from zero to hero. As has just happened to me.

As I placed my first assignment via e mail to the tutors of my course I feel that I whizzed through this assignment without any help from my tutor. I believe I can pick up this course very fast, and I'm ready to undertake the 2nd assignment once I've received my result for my first assignment.

I got 100% on my revision supplement, which is a big achievement because I do struggle to remember things. and I have had a lot of personal things going on at the moment, I haven't had as much time to study as I would like.

I have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my spine and sclerosis in my shoulder and am now classed as disabled. This has caused disruption to my whole life due to the constant pain. I have had to adapt and make changes as it has affected my family, my work place, my studies and not least of all my confidence. Despite this I have altered my work pattern, completed an exam and still kept up with my studies with Skills train. I am beginning to feel that my studies are what give me the conviction and focus not to let my disability get me down. I am now awaiting the outcome of my exam.
